JUST took some fast pics

Just put 19x8.5 foose speedster wheels on with 235/35/19 ZR toyos but they have a 91 load rating b/c they were on a 04 eclipse before, I wish now that I got 20's but I think if I lower it and put bigger tires on it say 265 or bigger for the rear, 245’s up front / 40 series or higher thickness, it will look better please tell me your input, they seem to look small at times, I have slotted rotors on the way/ and im getting darker tint (5%)

I love anything Foose. Those look interesting on the Q. I would say I like them. Also, 19" is the highest I would go with on the G50. I wouldn't go with 20s. What is the offset on those Foose wheels? And if you don't mind my asking, how much did they set you back?

You definitely need to lower the car. Also, the tires' load rating needs to go up. Get some beef. If you got the 245/35s you'd be at 93 with most tires and the diameter would be 25.8 really close to OEM 26.1.

If you go with 245/40s you could find some with 98 load rating like the Bridgestone Potenza S-03, however the diameter with the 245/40s is 26.6.

The perfect fit, since you have an 8.5" rim would be 255/35. You can find them all day with 96 load rating, which is 1 better than OEM, plus the diameter is 26.

Nice car.

I think they are totally wrong for your car in every aspect. Load rating/size aside, It's like seeing a beautiful woman and when she smiles, gold caps appear. The rims just ghettosize your car which is a very nice one btw.

Now I may be wrong... you may be want that kind of look... if so, please ignore me.

Sorry to be harsh but you did ask for opinions.

I think theyd look better if they werent so much of a star. I prefer thick clean spokes... They just look a little busy to me.

Time to lower the car!!

Do they meet oem add on weight balance crieria..........5 grams inside and 28 grams outside MAXIMUM with and without tires mounted?

Is the radial force with tires mounted under 14 pounds?

More tire. WAY more tire.

You can sell the ones you have to recoup some of your expenses.

What part of the valley do you live in?

Good-looking Q, by the way, and welcome aboard!!!

I agree with "DrewQ45". I also feel that your car looks "cheaper" now.

However, if you stay with those wheels, please consider lowering springs. With the current set-up, your car appears to be riding like a 4x4...

Again, don't take offense because this is just my opinion....

I like them, to each his own! Plus you can' t go very wrong with Foose. I think it'll look much better with some more rubber wrapped around them. Definitely lower the car as well, I need to do the same thing, just got my 350Z wheels on and it desperately needs to be lowered to look right. 1000% better than the old pie pans but will only be better lowered.

Where do you frequent in Phoenix? Maybe I'll see you around, can't miss those Foose wheels! I'm south of Sky Harbor Airport where I work and live out in Queen Creek.

Welcome to NICO!

With (probably fake) rivets, you ask? Surely, you jest!

Fashion, not function. Gotta look kewl in the parking lot.

Usually I'd agree, but Foose is quality stuff. I don't think you'll find ANYTHING fake about Foose. He certainly goes for STYLE not fashion, + most everything he does is VERY functional.

I don't think you can charge this type of $ ($2200) for "fluff".http://www.discountedwheelware...=3003

Take a look around the Foose vibe. You'll find that he's very detail oriented and NOT fashion without function blah blah blah.....http://www.chipfoose.com/wheels2.aspx

IMHO, It does look a little busy I guess...I would rather choose HRE or iForged wheels if I'm really serious about spending some money on wheels... something like these..

That I have no clue about, my buddy at Chaplin BMW took care of the mounting and spacers, and I will get the info for you all. I have not have had any problems with rubing or anything yet even at some high speeds and some cornering, but what i do know is I need more suitable tires. I bought them off a friend who got a truck and he needs 22’s now, I got lucky he gave me a deal.

Could be difficult unless you can find some Cali Customs springs on E-Bay or somewhere. A few of the guys are working on getting some made as manufacturer aren't making them for the older Q's any longer.

I like them. I think they will look totally different when you get larger tires & lower the car. They will look even better on the car then.

Foose. Ghetto? I wonder if his dad Sam knows of his son's downward spiral. Now this is the same Foose whom with help from West-Coast-Customs recreated a 69-Firebird said to be not "Pimp" (more on that later).
DrewQ45 wrote:It's like seeing a beautiful woman and when she smiles, gold caps appear.
Baps was a silly movie. Yet Halle Berry still managed to look tasty in her portrayal of an around the way girl.

It's great to see different styles of wheels and other accessories on vehicles.

I'm sure Chip would agree that some designs have a better fit with certain, I'll say interpretations. The wheels look fine on your Q as long as you like them. I agree as said elsewhere on this topic though that it needs more rubber and lowering.

To Brian (maxnix) his Q is pimp, though he may not agree to the morphed slang reference to it. As is Elwesso's, Crimson's, DrewQ45's, Mark86T's, Sijoko's, Rex's, AZhitman's, Falk's, Jason B's and so on. And I like all of the aforementioned Q45's as well as many not mentioned.

Whether they are virtually OEM or modded, when it comes cars the word Pimp can be just another term for having it your way.

At stock ride height, 19 inch wheels are just a bit too big. I think these might look okay on 'big-body' Qs like the Y33 and F50.

I like the rivets on the inside rim.

HRE are some fo the worst made, overhyped wheels available. If you want something of quality, look at Fikse.

It is like putting good 'ole fashioned spoke wheels on my ST1300 ! You know what I mean!It looks different and spoils the true beauty of G50!It is more of Caddy or Buick type of a wheel!Regardless of "over-inflated" price these puppies look out of place!Cheers!

With 20 inch rims. For example 255/30/20 would'nt be as bad as 255/35/20. The answer is yes.

- The covers in the wheel well will rub after the drop and before the drop.- The fenders will have to be rolled or flared because they will rub if you do not have the correct offset. I suggest flare because you can go wider and I like the look. Makes the car look beefier.- You will have to remove the covers inside the wheel well and mount the wire harness higher so that your tires do not rub and damage the harness. I myself had two metal hooks welded on both sides to raise the harness. I reinforced the harness with duck tape and silicone the exit and entry points at the frame.

Now I have no rub at all. But I took my custom cali springs off to do the things stated above first.

Why not try a staggered set up? Go crazy with it AND stay somewhat true to the load ratings, stock diameter, revs per mile etc. You'd have to spend some SERIOUS $ to do it right with light/strong enough wheels. Liike the beautiful "works vs-xx"18x8.5 with 255/40, 19x10 with 295/30. I'd forget about 20s with the G50, but to each their own.

How the hell can you call someones car "ghetto" when you are rocking chrome fender trim with "tuner" style wheels? Seriously, Im not trying to be a d!ck, but practice what you preach. If you think Im wrong, ignore me as well.

To the posted car, I love it. Once you get some meatier tires and a drop, it will be perfect. Gotta love those Speedsters...

Very nice Q, wish my paint was black vs pearl white.... all my cars where black.

Wheels- no like, they don't fit right- too narrow, wrong offset... and the design is just nothing I would ever put on my car.

G50 looks best with Mesh style wheels on it. I am thinking of selling my wheels for some different ones, or just swaping wheels with my Max that has Volks in staggered setup.
