I love anything Foose. Those look interesting on the Q. I would say I like them. Also, 19" is the highest I would go with on the G50. I wouldn't go with 20s. What is the offset on those Foose wheels? And if you don't mind my asking, how much did they set you back?96Q45taz wrote:JUST took some fast picsJust put 19x8.5 foose speedster wheels on with 235/35/19 ZR toyos but they have a 91 load rating b/c they were on a 04 eclipse before, I wish now that I got 20's but I think if I lower it and put bigger tires on it say 265 or bigger for the rear, 245’s up front / 40 series or higher thickness, it will look better please tell me your input, they seem to look small at times, I have slotted rotors on the way/ and im getting darker tint (5%)
I agree with "DrewQ45". I also feel that your car looks "cheaper" now.DrewQ45 wrote:I think they are totally wrong for your car in every aspect. Load rating/size aside, It's like seeing a beautiful woman and when she smiles, gold caps appear. The rims just ghettosize your car which is a very nice one btw.
Now I may be wrong... you may be want that kind of look... if so, please ignore me.
Sorry to be harsh but you did ask for opinions.

With (probably fake) rivets, you ask? Surely, you jest!Q45tech wrote:Do they meet oem add on weight balance crieria..........5 grams inside and 28 grams outside MAXIMUM with and without tires mounted?
Is the radial force with tires mounted under 14 pounds?
Usually I'd agree, but Foose is quality stuff. I don't think you'll find ANYTHING fake about Foose. He certainly goes for STYLE not fashion, + most everything he does is VERY functional.maxnix wrote:With (probably fake) rivets, you ask? Surely, you jest!
Fashion, not function. Gotta look kewl in the parking lot.
That I have no clue about, my buddy at Chaplin BMW took care of the mounting and spacers, and I will get the info for you all. I have not have had any problems with rubing or anything yet even at some high speeds and some cornering, but what i do know is I need more suitable tires. I bought them off a friend who got a truck and he needs 22’s now, I got lucky he gave me a deal.Q45tech wrote:Do they meet oem add on weight balance crieria..........5 grams inside and 28 grams outside MAXIMUM with and without tires mounted?

Could be difficult unless you can find some Cali Customs springs on E-Bay or somewhere. A few of the guys are working on getting some made as manufacturer aren't making them for the older Q's any longer.96Q45taz wrote:.....now where can I get springs?

You definitely need to lower the car. The perfect fit, since you have an 8.5" rim would be 255/35. You can find them all day with 96 load rating, which is 1 better than OEM, plus the diameter is 26. Nice car.
Foose. Ghetto? I wonder if his dad Sam knows of his son's downward spiral. Now this is the same Foose whom with help from West-Coast-Customs recreated a 69-Firebird said to be not "Pimp" (more on that later).DrewQ45 wrote:The rims just ghettosize your car which is a very nice one btw.
Baps was a silly movie. Yet Halle Berry still managed to look tasty in her portrayal of an around the way girl.DrewQ45 wrote:It's like seeing a beautiful woman and when she smiles, gold caps appear.

With 20 inch rims. For example 255/30/20 would'nt be as bad as 255/35/20. The answer is yes.Clyons0203 wrote:im looking to get some 19s or 20s in chrome for my 94Q. i plan on dropping it with a cali cutom/ tokiko setup. Just wondering will they rub with the drop.
Why not try a staggered set up? Go crazy with it AND stay somewhat true to the load ratings, stock diameter, revs per mile etc. You'd have to spend some SERIOUS $ to do it right with light/strong enough wheels. Liike the beautiful "works vs-xx"18x8.5 with 255/40, 19x10 with 295/30. I'd forget about 20s with the G50, but to each their own.Clyons0203 wrote:im looking to get some 19s or 20s in chrome for my 94Q. i plan on dropping it with a cali cutom/ tokiko setup. How the hell can you call someones car "ghetto" when you are rocking chrome fender trim with "tuner" style wheels? Seriously, Im not trying to be a d!ck, but practice what you preach. If you think Im wrong, ignore me as well.DrewQ45 wrote:I think they are totally wrong for your car in every aspect.
