lol thats a question no one has asked. whats a rough estimate of how much they will cost? and also, kyle do you by any chance know what sort of design these things have (how they will look)?

I was about to ask that question too.

Do you have at least a ballpark estimate Kyle?

Is there any plans of selling LED tails? I know some are being sold on ebay, but I would like to see some from a reputable manufacturer...

Also, those of you that replace your headlights...Are you replacing the stock 'regular" lights, or the xeon's? If replacing the Xeons what is the benefit of this? I have the xeons and love them so dont really see the benefit..

I can touch on this...

The company that Kyle is talking about, this Anzo, they are the company that makes the LED lights that are on Ebay right now.

So...I guess you can take that for what you want...but I don't think having your product sold on Ebay takes away from your reputability. (I saw a Stillen swaybar for sale on ebay...doesn't mean it is any less Stillen then the part you would find on their site) Let Phenom beat the H out of his lights for a while and we will see how they hold up. (Site of his grille is reference used for his beating up credibility) haha

I'd be replacing the "regular" stock lights pending price and design.

2006 Altima headlight...I think it will give an idea of what it would end up...most seem to be one halo/one projector.

Ok thanks. Sorry. I agree many reputable things are for sale on ebay, but I was just a little skeptic about those tails. Im new to the car mod world and just thought those tails were some Joe Schmoe making them. Good to hear theyre not though!

Just to let you guys know... I had some input on what their design would be, so I would expect it to be a little bit more unique and cooler than the one pictures 2 posts above this...

I dont have any idea on what they actually did, but I sugguested something much better than whats pictured 2 posts above... if they took my design cues, its gonna be fantastic.

On replacing HID factory lights (from the 3.5) you can bring your HID lights with you, just remove the ballast (its screwed into the bottom of the stock housing) and bolt it to the new one (or on the frame near it)

These aftermarket lights arent about getting more or better output, but rather changing the design of the enclosure. I will be moving my non-factory Xentec HID's over to the new housing when it is released.

Well...don't take my comments as "Anzo is the shiznit" either! I have no idea about their product...I know 4 people from the site that bought the tails, and all seem to be happy...but that is all I know. I can tell you the ebay lights are a company, but how good is that company, appears to be on the fence (But all signs point to 'legit')

One thing to consider when buying parts on Ebay is who you are buying the parts from. A good deal today, might mean big head aches in the future. For example, you would be amazed at the number of phone calls we get from people who wanted to save some money and bought their parts through a shop on Ebay. Now that shop is out of business, or not returning phone calls, or whatever...And that customer is stuck with a part that they can't do anything with because the manufacturer, just like all manufacturer's, require's that you contact the company that you purchased the parts through. Most the time, the people selling on Ebay are just guys sitting in their living rooms shuffling around paper work who never actually lay eyes on the part you order. They receive your order, and send their order to the manufacturer who ships it out for them. That is why they can offer the parts at such low prices. They have no over head. They have no future business plan. They can make five bucks off each part and be happy.

When you order from a company like STILLEN you are getting 25 years of experience in the aftermarket automotive industry. You are getting unrivaled customer service and support. You are getting a high level of knowledge that only comes from experience. You are getting access to a warehouse with over 2 million dollars worth of inventory. So ya, you might save yourself a few bucks on Ebay but is that savings worth future possible head aches?

Those reasons are why I always buy from major stores such as Best Buy and companies like that.

+1 to all of that!

I agree...I have only spent more then $50 maybe 5 times on ebay...and NEVER EVER anything electronic more then that $50. Unless I am buying something that I know is already broken...(As-Is because I can fix it) I don't want to deal with the hassle. All computer parts are bought from big name internet sites (Newegg / Microcenter / Fry's) just because when you actually have that warranty claim, there is a website and sometimes a B&M building you can go too.

I guess one issue with the LED Tails right now...the only place anyone is selling them is on Ebay...that is a downfall...

Im an ebay nut, and Kyle is right... You get the deal upfront on ebay, but if theres issues, you are pretty much beat.

I have ways to work around it, but with car parts you are SOL... with electronics, if somewhere like bestbuy sells it, well then i always buy it online, and you can always buy/return at ebay.. but thats a whole long discussion lol...

This Bullstuffing. I emailed them to ask if they have anything for the sedan and sent me a canned response saying that they don't have plans for them and that their factory will work over time during the summer to have things ready for SEMA.

OK here are the tail lights...

http://www.stillen.com/product...ltima

Apparently the lights on Ebay are from a company called "revotek" which is different and unrelated to Anzo. Because I have no experience with them I can not speak to their quality. Anzo however, I can go on for days.

I know that the price is significantly higher but this is just a starter price...Let's try to get a group buy going on these. How many people would be interested in genuine Anzo LED tail lights?

I'm kinda more interested in seeing the headlights first. Once I decide to get those I might want to upgrade my tails at the same time, but that price is just yikes!

i would be down for a group buy depending on what the price of the lights would be during the group buy.

it would have to come down a decent amount considering they are twice as much as on ebay...

Everything she said

I understand that the advantage to buying these tails from Stillen would be that you get their awesome customer service backing up a quality product, but man, the price would have to drop quite a bit for me to jump on these.

As far as design, I see no difference between these and the ebay tails. Ive trusted Stillen with pretty much every upgrade to my car, so if they back these then I believe them. But I think that they could be a bit more competitively priced(not expecting ebay prices).

PS: Cant wait to see the headlights
