Just bought another S14, but the speedo/odo is way off, when i'm going about 65-70, the speedo is near maxed, I drove 86-90 miles and it reads 130+ miles something like that

I'm thinking maybe the VSS/speed sensor is maybe from an S13 which is why it's off? or if anyone's had this problem what did it come down to? VSS, wiring, or just the speedo gauge itself?

Without knowing what the car has been through or modified, I'd check the speedo gauge itself first.

Most cars that have that issue, it's the gauge.

Using an S13 VSS in an S14 will result in the speedometer reading near double. Its a common problem when people swap redtop SRs into S14s. I would switch the speed sensor.
