OK, new tires and an competent Hunter balance and alignment will help.
Two cautions: Don't go cheap on the tires or off brand. Meet the OEM minimum specifications.
Do get a competent expert installer to mount and balance the tires. If you use Tire Rack many of their installers are a grade above the minimum wage guys at the large discounters.
The second gear shift at light load and low rpm is a known issue. Check on GQJay's posts in Infiniti Online Mechanic Forum.
The point about the service history is later is better than never, but not as good as before. So get it.
