I like it, but does it hold a can of pepsi or a bottle of arizona tea - one of those big glass bottles? That probably sounds like a dumb question but im always drinking the arizona tea

It will only fit the s14's as far as I know...sorry! I would need detailed pictures of the s13's interior/dimensions if I were to build one...could you do that Kaoishin?

Festino, it holds the big bottles of arizona iced tea perfectly...I too am an avid drinker of SOBE, which has essentially the same bottle as Arizona iced tea, and I've had no problems---a soda can will slide around a little, but nothing major...besides, soda cans go fast!

Let me know guys!

Do you realy think you could make one for an S13 with just pics and dimentions? If so I'll take some measurements and I'd prolly throw down 15 bucks for something like that. Is it possible to do black, or is the metal easily painted? I'd be using the space left by the ash tray when It is pulled out. mebbe I could send you my ash tray and you could use it as a template or something?

So, so so many S13's!!!!! :pface I'd be interested in seeing how many s13's were produced vs. s14s.

If I could just get like a nice background picture of the s13 console before/after the ashtray, then i could evaulate whether or not I'd be able to make one, ie, i don't know if the S13 ashtray/console are angled, etc. My metal working skills aren't exactly refined, although they do make some nice S14 cupholders..:)

No, they don't need to be bolted in. NO, they don't scratch up your console. Yes, they are removable easily.

It would be possible to do black, but I'd have to charge a little more for the painting, etc...panting's always a pain...But yes, the metal is easily painted, as it is already "sanded" nice and smooth.

Dude the s13 HAS a cupholder. When I removed my center console to replace my shift boot and fix my cigartte lighter from just dangling, I started using my ash tray as a cup holder. Leave it in its place when not in use, then pull it out and put a drink in there. Free and functional. I got a biggie sized drink and it fit in there.

i use that ash tray as a change cup. Although i do want a cup holder, i have no idea what i would do without the change holder, that yields me about $15 a month. :)

P.S.- S13

I used to, until i found a better use. So I put my change in the little storage compartment on the center console or the pocket undere the stereo

I found this by accident today:http://home.nc.rr.com/turbo240sx/interior.html

CUP HOLDER: The cup holder is an item that I made a long time ago and I've had ton's of questions about it. The original cup holder was made from a 3" speaker port and was quite easy to make, but would only fit can drink without problems. I've since redesigned mine with some spare parts and made it to accommodate a 16 oz. bottle. I did this by using an old MAS from a 94 Maxima. I gutted the MAS, cut it in half and used the end which had the flange with 4 bolt holes. Then the MAS was honed out by using a cylinder hone until it would accept a 16 oz. bottle. This wasn't hard cause the MAS is rather thick and only a little bit of material had to be removed. After the honing was done, the MAS was mounted in place and secured by the 4 holes on the flange. Then the trim ring was made with black Lexan and secured in place. This cup holder is rock solid and works like a champ.
