Definitely a nice purchase. I roll my window down when I'm in the mall parking garage so I can hear the sweet melodies echo inside. 20 degree weather and all.

Great. Show us pics when you install it.

I got myself the K&N drop-in. It also makes such a sweet noise.

+1 to you for putting an Injen into a 2.5S. I looked at some YouTube videos and the sound was pretty nice (not as good as the 3.5, of course). I want to keep my car as quiet as possible, but I think you'll really like the Injen. Looks like you got a very nice deal on it. How many miles did the used one have?

I'm not sure, but the intake was off an 07 sedan so shouldnt be that much miles. I woke up at 6:30 on Sunday morning just to bid on it! haha

i thought you were saving up for the turbo? anyway what would be funny if he was 250 short of the turbo and a lot of ppl buy it, and then for some reason they stop making them and mcheddadi would never be able to get one. hahahah

Don't feel too bad, I live in the states but I had to pay $271 because of shipping to Hawaii And the Canadian dollar is strong against a weak American one so it's not too bad.

I just noticed a weird thing. when I go in reverse, the overlay that tells the distance (the lines in green, yellow and red) moves and shifts from left to right, It's off centered and it moves...

I don't know why...maybe it's because I only disconnected the negative on my battery at the end of the install when doing the install... Did anyone have the same problem, and does anyone know how to fix that?

I don't quite know exactly what you mean by overlay that moves? Do you mean the odometer? Well, whatever it is, I'm sure it had nothing to do with only disconnecting the negative.

I'm talking about the lines that appear on the screen when you go in reverse. those lines that are supposed to tell you the distance there is between you and something. they are moving from side to side (imagine an old tv with bad reception). I'll try cleaning the lens and disconnecting the negative on the battery again to see if it resets the reverse camera.

well I tried disconnecting the battery again and that did kinda fix it. but what I'm talking about is that when you go in reverse, there is a program that quickly superimposes the distance lines to the webcam image. well I don't quite remember if its normal to see the adjustement being done (the lines being centered on the image). but the more I think bout it the more I think thats just the normal behavior of the reverse camera.the camera image is fine here, its only the overlay that's being displayed maybe too quickly, before it had the time to center itself...I don't know If its just me being too picky or something but anyways, I don't think it had anything to do with the intake or the battery.

If anyone that has the reverse camera on his car could put it in reverse and tell me if the lines are :-already centered and DON'T move at all to be more centered when displayed.-are almost centered and slightly more left (or right) to be perfectly centered when displayed

I think I'm just going to have to take it to the stealership so that they can adjust my guidelines. it's a simple adjustment for them so it shouldn't take them too long.

I checked the service manual, and here's how they are going to do it:

I wish I could do it myself though
