My buddy Ron's roll back locked up the transmission on I25 yesterday night and I got the nice little task of hauling this giant abortion of a load back into town.
Just shy of 13 feet tall and grossing just shy of 40,000 lbs. Dang POS cheby's!

Wow! 40,000lbs is alot of weight for a pick-up, even for our mighty Dodge Cummins. The most I've ever weighed was 19,200lbs.

Hell yeah there's laws against that, anything weighing over 10,000lbs being towed, the driver must posess a class A CDL. Not quite true. The cutoff for a CDL is anything over 26,000 GVW. Not that it matters to me since I'm licensed to drive anything with wheels. Class A, doubles, triples, hazmat and busses!Logan76 wrote:

And it actually wasn't over the GCVW for the equipment that I was towing it with. 28K GVW trailer and 12KGVW truck.
