My buddy Ron's roll back locked up the transmission on I25 yesterday night and I got the nice little task of hauling this giant abortion of a load back into town.

Just shy of 13 feet tall and grossing just shy of 40,000 lbs. Dang POS cheby's!

^ That's cool! Is the dodge towing it all even a dually? Can't tell. That's one biggass load.

Btw, the title of this thread sounds sexual.

Nope, it's my 2007 3500 single wheel. Only got scary at one light when I wasn't sure I could stop it and I was only doing 40 in a 55. Oh yea, it was raining like crazy bringing it in.

Dang...that looks a little top-heavy. Why was the poor dodge being hauled away in the first place?

You have no idea! Corners were a VERY slow process with that load. 3 suspensions all absorbing the bumps and corners was VERY interesting to say the least.

The white Dodge has a blown motor (5.2L gasser)

Wow! 40,000lbs is alot of weight for a pick-up, even for our mighty Dodge Cummins. The most I've ever weighed was 19,200lbs.

Glad you didn't pile it up!

P.S.- What happened with that Super Duty you were building? Any updates?

That is insane! And awesome at the same time. I would never want to drive a rig like that. How did the Cummins to pulling all that? Just curious, are there any laws against something like this?

The F250 got sidelined for a couple months because the owner was short on money. It's getting close now though.

I'm eager to see the end result.

Just got a text from my little bro, he picked up a Silver Bullet 66 for his '06.

Not with the '07. That thing hardly smokes at all.

Hell yeah there's laws against that, anything weighing over 10,000lbs being towed, the driver must posess a class A CDL. Not to mention hes way past the towing capacity of that truck.

I can't wait to get a cummin's, I hate that stupid big block gas motor truck I've got now, 220hp and 5 miles per gallon, just terrible.

Not quite true. The cutoff for a CDL is anything over 26,000 GVW. Not that it matters to me since I'm licensed to drive anything with wheels. Class A, doubles, triples, hazmat and busses!

And it actually wasn't over the GCVW for the equipment that I was towing it with. 28K GVW trailer and 12KGVW truck.

I managed 13MPG with it though!
