Has anyone tried making a fiberglass boot. Kinda like what the saleen convertible mustangs have without the ugly humps.

just an idea. I'm thinking of doing something like this.

I looked at that. It's ugly.

here is another idea. I'm by no means a fiberglass guy, but I might mock something up this weekend.

Ugly??? I've been thinking that those humps can be a nice touch. If you don't have them, cover will look too plain and flat. You know what I mean? If humps are not over done, they should be alright.

The humps should definitely be there, but they should be small unless they are going on a car with serious aero.

i'm with you i think the humps look Fugly.... there are many other things you can do other that add Speed Humps to make the panel not so plain..

My idea is just to cover the top when is down "HENCE BOOT". I still want to be able to use the rear seats. My daughters cant wait to ride in the vert once everything is working perfect.

I'm going to make something like the boot soon. If everythhing goes well I might make soemthing like the mustang w/o the humps.

It looks like every vert that has that cover ROCKS the ugly humps. I might have to add it to the plans.

Anyone on here a good photoshopper!!!!!!!!!

Photoshop the vert with a top like this.

Whats the poitn of the boot? When you gotta put it up you gotta take it off so you can only really use it while driivng right?

I will second that. Stays on fine at any speed that is legal...no need to worry.
