I was wondering how many of you got your motors with a internal wastegate? Just noticed that all the pics of CA's that I see on the threads are internally gated, but mine was not. I'm not bytching or complaining just wondering. I tried loading a pic of it on the Nico Ride Post section but it was taking forever and a day, if anyone could put it up in this thread it would be appreciated. I would just need your email, but if you guys just dont care thats fine.

I can't put your pic up but i am sort of interested in your setup that you have there. As far as i know, all CA's came with internally gated turbos and if yours isn't then you may have gotten a motor with an aftermarket turbo/external wastegate setup. Although i could be wrong, it would be nice for me to see and for you to find out whats up.

The files are kinda big (about 1.3mb) and are being compressed so its gonna be a lil bit before they are sent.

haha...someone ganked the pipe that held the aftermarket bov on my engine and yet somehow they let an aftermarket turbo, wastegate, manifold, and intercooler slip by on yours :)

You've got the luck of the irish buddy. Hope your luck stays with you throughout your entire project.

I'm almost positive you're going to have steering shaft clearance issues... and possibly brake booster clearance issues as well. Other than that, you're a lucky bastard!:)

Well if it turns out that you have clearance problems, just let me have that stuff and I'll give you what I've got so that it will clear. I know, I know, it's above and beyond, but what can I say, I'm a nice guy. Hehehehe

LOL, i was looking at a Greddy TD06 Kit install the other day on a UK car (RHD) and there really isn't much room even on that, I'm pretty sure it uses the same manifold and WG. Going to be a tad tight methinks.

I think it'll clear the MC, but I don't know about the steering shaft...

yeah I agree, the greddy kits seem to be slung quite low and quite far back to enable the TD06 to fit, it's a big turbo that wouldn't fit otherwise due to the engine mount.

Yeah, now that I think about it, Paul used that manifold... had to make a custom steering shaft and steering box or something crazy like that. I'll send him in this direction if I talk to him today:) He can answer your questions better as he used that manifold!
