I had a GREAT day at the junkyard today. I started out picking apart a 91 coupe. Got one fantastic condition passenger tail light, a gas cap opening cable, a center metal tail section (between the light on tail light on the coupe) , interior panels from the trunk, trunk light, a driver side front turn signal, the inner parts for 90 tail lights(good to have spares in case of meltdowns!) ,and a drivers side seat belt(mine works but is really frayed!) This was at the first yard and only set me back $25. The second yard I picked up a hood for someone at work..off of a Mercury Tracer. Believe it or not it fit in my hatch with no problem!

Then the jackpot! This yard charges two bucks to get into and recently had just one rotted 91 shell with a cut off roof. I just wanted to see what they had added recently and was poking around in the far back corner of the lot. There was this gold car with no trunk,no bumpers,no lights. crunched left side. One good door (passenger) was really all that seemed to be left . Then I saw the seats .That's what I was looking for. I had almost started to pull some leather volvo ones then I saw this car. The seats are immaculate except for one light stain on the bottom of the passenger seat. They seemed to be a familiar pattern though and color. A little purple..some black...some hash marks in various directions. I start to pull the drivers seat which was a pain because the driver side door would not open. I has a perfect dash by the way! What's on the floor board??? 240 sx floor mats!!! I lucked into s-14 seats...finally. The best part was the price..$25 a piece. Everyone is right, these ARE a lot more comfortable! I also got one front spindle and 5 lug hub.The rears and the other side are still there. Hope they are there Tuesday when I can get back over. I already have the j-30 brakes and this would save me from getting the rotors drilled. Plus the endless wheel choice later on of course. The spindle and hub was $25..a fair price.I changed the seats out right there in the yards parking lot . The lumbar support is nice ! I didn't get tired at all on the hour trip home and

...I'm still smiling!
