Anyone who actually is ordering a part from jspec is usually someone who appreciates thier commitment and business, but I guess some people just can't chill for a week that for a part that may have taken months to source.

Like finzant said this is dead and taken care of, but I find it funny how easy it is for you to give your .02cents when you are not the one fronting your own hard earned money. I do appreciate the type of parts they offer and how hard it is to find them, but I don't appreciated the approach or standards they use to handle customers, no matter how much I spend there.

Former_240_s14 is right. Even if the customer ha an attitude with the store, the workers shouldnt be having an attitude back at them. Even if JSPEC is the only place to get certain parts, and thats where the people HAVE to buy from, doesnt mean that they can just be asses to customers. Not that I had ANY kind of experience with them, so I have no right to say anything good OR bad about Jspec, from the story I heard, it just sounded like they did something wrong with customer care service that they provvide.

customers are the reason why a business is a business, they need to be treated with the same respect ppl give them... by giving them your business, your giving them respect in the aspect that u trust them with your earned money. Bad customer service is the downfall of many a business... I think Rubin had perfect right to be angered... if u dont agree, then deal... It's just my opinion that since the customer is the reason a business is a business...then they should be treated respectfully....

Customer isn't always right that's what happened to it :pface

Some customers are d|ckheads and some aren't.<------- This has nothing to do with the poster of this thread so don't take offense. Just saying in general that there's the bad customers and the good customers which concludes that customers aren't always right.

True that customers should be dealt with respect, but customers should know that the people working there deal with lots of people everyday and probably p|ssed off by a customer or two. Workers would like to be treated with respect just like how customers would like to be respected by businesses. Of course if you're rude to them, most likely they'll be rude back. By being courteous and patient you've made someone's day whether you're the consumer or the provider.l

The statement " the customer is always right" is the state of mind that all businesses should have, but the statement itself is not actually true by any means.

Yeah, there should be a mutual respect thing going on both sides, but if there ever is a problem the business should be the one to correct it since they are in it to make money and keep more customers coming in. Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture.......you may lose money on one sale correcting a problem, but you would have saved money in the long run by not ruining your name and stopping would be customers from coming in.

There should definately be mutual courtiousness, but this isn't a perfect world.:D

Oh, and who cares if this thread is old? It still serves the same purpose.:rolleyes
