Joe,

Good to hear that you got a good motorset! It seems like those things are getting harder and harder to come by these days. Is this going to be your first SR20 powered car?

Yes, this is going to be my first SR20 powered car that I've owned, but not the first I've driven. Several of my friends have had SR's for almost 4 years now. However, there might be a problem with my motor, I won't post any details about it till I talk to Jason or Shaun about it first. Hopefully it's minor.

weird, I called them a month ago and they said they don't normally sell CA's and that they hadn't sold any in a while, and that to special order them was gonna be like 1900 for a motorset. How much did you pay for your ca oneor?

i don't think i've everyhad one without a dented oil pan. its hard for people to understand these are 11 year old motors. it should be clean though. i sent him a new ignitor chip today. i guess the frieght company lost his original one.... give us your input jon. shaun

I just noticed the other day that the oil pan on my motor is slightly dented, i could bang it out, but I'm gona be getting a Greddy oil pan anyway (probably from JGY :D) when I get more money. Sucks my ignitor chip went missing, oh well, hopefully if i can make it through all the paperwork and hassle with the shipping company I can get my money back for the one I bought. oh well, **** happens.

Just bang out the oil pan dents...unless it's HUGE it's not a big deal. I have a decent sized one considering the donor car for my KA had been in a front end collision and shoved the front sway bar into the oil pan :)

nah, chuck the stocker. After getting my greddy pan i finnaly got to see how much bigger it is, its like 2.5 times bigger. It also has a extra bung for a oil temp sensor which is nice.

Well, my ignitor chip went missing somewhere between JGY and me, so it's no fault of JGY or myself, I blame The Man;)
