Florida240SX yes it was done on dual 2.5 so that would help Vs. single. And yes they were trying to make a point. They also used stock headgasket.fuel lines/rail/filter... just because everyone said "it couldnt be done" I like to see more people do this, to prove points about how such-and-such thing is better what not. I know none of this is really related to the post and its late but oh well.

1. The JGS wastegate is just as reliable as a Tial. I'm actually removing my Tial to replace with a JGS.

2. The .48 hybrid turbo will spool just as quickly as a straight T3 and create more headroom for later. On my SR (Sentra) I have 7 lbs by 3500 with it. You won't have any problems with it. i would plan on more like 250 rwhp though at around 7 lbs and plan on that power.

3. Fuel management will make or break any setup, no matter how much you spent on the rest of the build. For injectors, peace of mind, go with 550cc. Is it required, of course not, is it better for when you are itching for more boost...of course. (wow run on). The stock maf will run out at or around 260 rwhp, so a Z32 will create headroom even after that turbo runs out of breath (400-450 rwhp).

4. JGS is also working on an intercooler kit that will flow more than you'll need to worry about, and should be relatively inexpensive.

5. Lastly I would just buy JGS blow off valve when you order the rest. If not that a used 1g DSM (budget) or a Tial. I prefer to stick with one manufacturer if they make reputable parts. Again I'm removing my HKS Race BOV for a JGS.

Shoot me an email and I can answer any other questions you have, if they aren't answered here.

I love JGS, I have been try to get them to build this kit for 2 years now. Basically when I decided I couldn't manufacture kits myself and bought one of their DIY mani's. I friend of mine used their Miata kit and it was very well put together. JGS rocks and they are a great product for the money. Exactly what Grass Roots racers like us need.

Thanks for the post, tons of good info! All of my questions have been answered and I hopefully should be ordering the kit within several weeks!

Doesn't JGS already sell a intercooler ($200 or something) and then piping ($300 or something) but not in a total kit.

I wish they sold a full kit with injectors, intercooler, and every since thing.

they sell an intercooler kit for the s14

theyre working on modifying the s14 pipes for the s13 now

too many people like to have something different than whats included in the kit for many parts, this kit is the stuff that basically you will need, and would probably be buying from JGS anyway, so now you just get all the other stuff, and you can make decisions on what you want for those parts
