Jesse James was making money at WCC way before the Monster Garage and the other TV shows. The guy owns dozens of cars and bikes including a 360 Modena (Spider??) and a Murcielago.I think he realizes anyone who knows his name knows that he would never walk into a AutoZone. Thats just for the paycheck.

The AOL commercials with the OCC guys are plain stupid.

Since you gusy dont shop at Autozone where to you go? Autozone is cheap that is all I can tell cheap lifetime warranty stuff cant get much better than that.

What other than "Napa cost a billion dollar autoparts store" would you go to?

I prefer NAPA and Carquest, for the most part they're stuff is made by the actual OEM maker or on par with quality.

Autozone, Advance and Pep Boys are more of an I'm in a pinch type of place.

OReilly's has been pretty good so far, parts haven't given me grief.

and most people at Napa and Carquest know about cars it seems and aren't complete jackasses

Exactly...

And Advance is probably cheaper, and offers a good warranty, but I'd ratehr pay a few dollars more for a part at NAPA or CarQuest and install it only once, not two or three times...

I was WAY off, guys - Sorry. :(

The car in the AutoZone commercial is a '53 Chevy (business coupe, to be exact).

I had seen him driving a '50 Merc on his show once, and assumed that was the one you guys were talking about.

Was curious arent most of the parts at Autozone or Advance like rebuilds of the original factory OEM parts? Wouldnt that make them practically OEM?

I was just wondering cause I was told they where rebuilds mostly.

yes they are rebuilds but they go with quantity not quality...theres a reason why their stuff has a lift time warrenty, cuz they expect it to break...the only thing i get form that store is cleaning supplys, and fluids...and little odds and ends stuff fuses, lights, filters..etc no "important" parts
