I'm not quite sure how just installing a yellow H3 bulb in a stock foglight would compare to the yellow lenses, but I can assure you that I'm also going to install yellow bulbs in my yellow lensed foglights, due to the poor lense painting that was done. The top right corner of the driver side foglight has barely any yellow tint to it.

I also accidently ripped out the wiring of one of the fogs, when it got caught on something offroading, and the little clip looking thing that holds the bulb in is now somewhere in the forest...

I tried jimmy rigging it with a paperclip, but its not working so well, and the bulbs keep shorting out. I will have to do something to fix it, cause just one foglight is ghey.

I'm in florida right now so I will take more pics when I return home to Good cold New Hampshire!

haha...Ive always kinda liked yellow foggers, especially on the older Lexus IS. My buddy can't stand anything except crystal clear white light..lol.

That's the one thing I love about the QX4 we just picked up. The yellow foggers are awesome, they're brighter than the damn headlights! Not to mention how different it is to see a yellow glow on the road in front of you. Glad ya bought them! If you're ever following someone else when you dont know where ur going the person leading the way wont ever lose you now...haha. I could see my mom following me like 15 cars behind me with those glowing yellow beams.

ReKleineR thanks for the pic, Any day shots/lights off with the entire truck in the picture? I am curious how they looks with the rest of the truck.

How is the output on it?

I just got the same kit today. Found the prewired connectors after popping off the fog light cover, but then I realized the factory connector is different than the connector on these JDM lights. Looks like I'll HAVE to use the wiring harness that comes the kit.

Where did you find an openning on the firewall to feed through the wires for the switch?

HeyReKleineR. I found the opening on the firewallBut not sure what to do with the the 4 pin connector coming from the switch. It has a single yellow wire to pin 1. I think it is for supplying power to the led light inside the switch.

Where does this conncetor suppose to go? I read the service manual and notice there's aslo a 4 pin connector (E63) on the facotry combination stalk for the front fog. But I open mine up and don't see that connector there. How did you do connect yours?
