it should be on the passenger side since we drive on the right side of the road. then, when you back in and turn the wheels left to swing in the front of the car, you know where the passenger corner is at so you dont swipe the edge of the car in front of you.

my two cents.
mmhmmm i agree

I've found 180sx fine tuning package, sports package and optional parts brochures, but it's not there. I would think that it's one of those dealer options. Some options don't appear in the brochure or catalog. I think you better search JDM used car websites.

Please post some pics. I'd like to see it. It's one of those rare s13 parts.

You guys need to learn to search on other forums :P.

Obviously, you'll probably want to put yours on the US passenger side, this should give you an idea of where it mounts:

well said !...

Keep the pic comming ! It will probably be harder to mount it on my bumper than a Silvia front end cause there is not flat surface...So a pic of a 240sx or 180sx with one would be even better !

Oh! You got it from needforjdm/tunedbyjdm. He's a cool guy. I got my digital climate control from him. Yeah, I also collect jdm stuff. We might have run into each other on eBay.

Yes we're probably watching the same items often!

So , do somebody have more pictures of the pole ? Maybe on a 180sx ?

I have a good idea of the overall look ,but im really wondering how the grommet is sitting on a curvy 180sx bumper compared to flat surfaced s13 one...I dont want to have my pole pointing to the front

Well, you should/could shave the rubber/plastic mounting point so that it will conform to the bumper better, i.e. just like the guys who run the s2000 style antenna kit (made for flat surfaces) on 240's - need to shave a lil.

I managed to find another pole mounted on a silvia this past weekend, but that is on a flat surface as well.

Instead of waiting for someone to find a pic of a pole mounted on a 180sx bumper, you should just do it, then take a pic, and post.

As Gandhi would say, "Be the change you want to see in the world."

Good luck on ur pole installation.

I dont know if : A: you have the hability to read the first page of the post or B : think i should be worried about what you think look good or not on my car .

I have a very very good idea for you , just dont put a parking pole on your car and you should be fine !

Thats one option I never knew the S13 came with. I thought back up sensors started to be used on newer cars just a few years back.
