I figured if I'm going to be working on this car I might as well make a thread documenting my progress. Feel free to write down any opinions and tell if you like what I'm doing or not. Thanks!

I bought the car for $2,000. It's a 1995 SE. Didn't have a rear seat, trash and ashes everywhere inside from the PO, he smoked a lot.

It had a giant 3" tach on the dash which left 2 holes when I took it out. A "carbon fiber" steering wheel, which I replaced with the stock one my friend had. It also had no back seats. My friend also had a set of cloth seats for the back.

The trunk didn't open when I bought it cause the key was broken off inside. We got it out tonight.

Here is the inside of the trunk and the contents

We sanded down the inside and painted it with flat black rustoleum.

And we started to sand on the hood.

I plan on painting it Nissan super white.

And we just took out the whole lock/latch assembly and wiggled it around with a screw driver til it fell out.

Did a bunch of sanding today, starting to show the original paint. Which is perfect... The PO was sooo dumb. Wish he would have left it white.

Probably just oem replacements. Brakes aren't a big deal to me lol. I painted the calipers red and that's good enough for me.

Haha I will soon. Just gotta make sure I have money for my other plans too. I won't be doing much more til school is out. This summer I'm gonna lower it on coilovers, get a real set of wheels, fix the sunroof and seats, new internals, brakes, and turbo(along with all the turbo entails, fuel, ecu, ect...)

If looking to get really good coilovers I would get KTS or J.I.C. MAGIC that what i would get lol.So how much power are you hopeing to get out of the KA24DE.They can easly handle 350hp on stock internals

I'm hoping on getting 350hp by the end of the summer, before forged internals.

Put on the header and full 3" exhaust, header, cold air intake, shift boot, and stripped the interior so paint all the inside deals black. Cutting out a hole in the back seat to install a 10'' sub. Kicker CVR.

Haha it'll bump. And I'm painting it white myself. I've always owned white cars and I've heard from everyone that white is the best to start out with cause you can easily fix your mistakes.

And I'm looking for some anniversary 350z wheels. But I'd have to sell mine first.

Mint SE wheels painted gunmetal with nismo stickers for sale :naughty:

Hey Jacob, I was wondering what kinda prep and what paint you used for the wheels, they look pretty good!
I'm considering doing something similar to mine and was curious of your methods and products.

Nice progress so far, keep it up!
