Jack stands outside the dotted area on pinch weld

Hi

Want to put my car on jack stand and was wondering if you use a floor jack in the dotted areau (between the 2 slids on the pinch weld) but place the jack stands outside of it?

Hi and welcome to NICO Club! The space between the notches in the pinch weld are for the jack stands (4 of them). The front and rear get the floor jack under the cross-member sometimes called sub-frame (big metal frame part between the front wheels and between the rear wheels).
