And I hear you on resale and trade value, about a month ago I was going to try to trade her in and the dealer only wanted to give me $500.

Haha, yeah dude. I guess she has some spunk for a big girl, but I really can't risk something taking a crap right now.

I've also been offered $500 on a trade in. It's understandable from the dealer's perspective, I guess. Sucks for us, though.

I cant really afford for anything to break either, but I've never been one to baby my cars.

If I can get it to last another year, with a few general maintenance items in May it should...

I'm planning on saving some overtime money this year and tax money next year and buying another car and then just run the J as a to and from work car til she dies.

You will end up spending the same as the J will retard the timing with -90 Octane .(Less MPG)Painful but true..

Gas prices going down? look for $4 per gallon this summer. I just bought a bicycle, and I have a moped lined up to buy next month.
