ITB's on a KA24DE

Has anyone put itb's from a gsxr 750 or 1000 onm a KA24DE motor. i know it can be done and i was curious to know pricing, how difficult the upgrade is and how reliable the motor will be with stock internal? Thanks

I know it has been done, Ive read the write up, but Im not sure where it is though. I would try searching.

is possible. i have use a itb from a gti-r custom for a s13 sr20. is mean like heck...full throttle. freakin' loud too...

wasnt sure where to post as the itb setup on ka's thread is locked to replies. in the process of installing itb's to my ka and would appreciate some feed back regarding the ecu setup. from most posts i have seen so far most ppl use megasquirt/megasquirt II as their ecu unit. have a motec m4 pro ecu unit and would like to know if this would be easily adapted for the application ? think i seen a post somewhere stating megasquirt was the only way to go but i find that a bit hard to believe seeing the motec unit has alot more functions, can use most aftermarket parts(trigger wheels etc) with ease and is alot more expensive. easily keep my distributor with motec too. any advice would be appreciated.

it seems the only obstacle to overcome is a map sensor....

i dont think it matters what you use as long as you get a correct a/f ratio.

also will a ka24de inlet manifold fiton a ka24e?hopefully yes! LOL
