Well. My Q blows regular air. ON hot days, this air is like super-heated. And now my HVAC unit is going blank. The fans work, but the display doesn't show anything.

I must have done something to offend the Q gods. My refrigerant level is topped off, but my car refuses to blow cold air. Riding with all the windows down and the sunroof open looks cool, but I can't do 65 EVERYWHERE, you know?

wow Hatian King, still having AC problems??? I think the HVAC controls need to been replaced. I would call some junkyards / ebay / ect.. It is easy to replace, just pull off the radio/console surround and its like 4 screws I think. Worth a try.

once I have the new one I can figure out what the hell happened to the old one, the $100 for a repair does not seem that fair

Yeah. I never figured out the AC problem. My refrigerant is maxed, according to Q45Tech, my condenser or compressor should be A OK.

I don't know what's going on. I really wish there was a Q expert close by.

When you whack the dash and the display comes back on, does your a/c work? The usual failure is just the display blanking out - but everything else still works. Mine, however, failed in a way that when the display didn't work, the compressor was off.

There are thousands of AC experts in US with skill set to solve Q problems especially when they have an exact copy of FSM and you pay them an hour or two to READ the AC Section so they can understand any uniqueness concerning control system.

Everything is expalined and methods of testing components are ALL in FSM.

Yeah, I mean "Q" experts. Knowledgeable in all things Q. Not just HVAC.

Today, my fans and stuff didn't come on. So i guess the whole HVAC needs to be replaced before winter eh?
