Went down today and handed the guy a check for the $1500 for the vert. I now have my S13 Convertable! Since it doesn't quite run yet, I'll get it towed later today and if the weather holds out, I'll even start to clean it out and maybe drain the oil and transmission fluid. I can't wait to get this thing running!! :D

Anyone have any idea what I can expect to pay for towing? About a 4-5 mile length.

That's the vert, with me on the left, and my S14 hiding.

When i got my coupe towed the cheapest i found was a $50 hook up fee then $5 a mile. Freaking expensive. But yeah awesome looking car dude I was thinking about getting a vert as well but not for sure.

We just pulled the engine and auto transmission outta one of my piglets. The engine = borked. The transmission is fine though. We just wanna get it on the road ASAP so we can start the pimping. Manual will follow hopefully and, funds providing, a Turbo KA. :) Atleast I think that's what he's hoping for...I know I am. :D

Thanks guys - yeah, I have been after this car for awhile. Plans are, like SeVa said, are to first get it up and running. After that, we'll see about getting it to be manual. May do some mild engine mods like intake/exhaust, but I'd like to do some suspension upgrades before boosting her. Some cosmetic repairs may be in order as well, but gonna take it one day/paycheck at a time.

I'm pretty sure as soon as I pick it up, one will just appear on my head, as if by magic.

I have towed my 240 many different places to get work done on it. I feel like I drive it more when people are towing it with a rope with me steering adn braking than i do actually driving it under its own power sometimes.

Nice. I'd get it for 300.

In fact, if you don't get it, I'd seriously get it for parts. Vert parts are gonna be hard to come by, I'm afraid.

Oh, and the car made it home thru questionable methods.. nothing dangerous, mind you, just not entirely honest. Now it sits awaiting it's new old transmission.

Sadly the interior is not th greatest. The woman who owned the car let the top rip and didnt repair it. So it really need a new top and a motor.

i was quoted around 900 for a new top for mine (i was just wondering at the time. My top's in perfect condition) As long as the bows aren't bent, getting the top fixed up should be easy.

900 for a new top? You should be able to get the top itself for around 250 and do the work yourself.
