Maybe for this society and nation. Where I'm from, it's a different ball game. My upbringing is completely different than the one my peers get here, where people go into marriage with the option of later getting a divorce like it's no big deal. I guess that's why the US has a, what, 50% divorce rate now?

Anyway...lets keep it on topic folks. If you know someone looking for a well maintained M, send em my way.

ilyakol, buddy...

Life it's not about where you come from, but where you are going and how you get there... you're going with some serious style right now...Good luck my friend, I'm happily married (well mostly :ohno: ) for 16 years now with 2 kids so it's all good...

And most importantly, If I know anyone who is in the market for one of the sweetest Ms I've ever seen, I will send em your way cause I know you're in NY not too far from me... and I know how you've been treating that beauty like your baby just by the pics and all your posts and contributions on this forum...

Spew? Warped views? Looks who's talking.

Let me remind you of something:
thomasm35 wrote:Love is blind, but marriage is eye opener!

That was the first 'negative' (the way I read it was that 'he doesn't know what he's getting himself into' or 'marriage is a waste') post in this thread.

No one asked for you opinion on marriage. Unlike the others who just said a quick good luck, you couldn't and decided to offer $0.05 instead of $0.02. As for your opinion...since you voiced it, why am I not allowed to post my view? And what makes my opinion warped and not yours? I'm sorry if your marriage(s) didn't work out but not everyone is the same nor will every marriage be the same. Please leave this thread and stop derailing it. No one needs this. Otherwise, I will talk to some of the moderators about a quick and easy solution to this 'disagreement.' Take your opinion elsewhere...I don't care for it.

Haven't you heard this joke: "Love is blind, but marriage is an eye opener"

As for me, I have been happily married to the same women fo 30 years and raised 3 kids - I hope you have the same good fortune.

I don't like people putting down this country! In my opinion it is the best place in the world to live.

Hope you sell your car soon!

IlyaKol: comments about marriage etc. were tongue in cheek (i.e. guys just joshing w/you as guys do) but all supportive. It appears you in your stages of grief re selling your M (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C3%BCbler-Ross_model ) are trying on the angry stage; which invariably invokes the same from some others.

It's OK buddy-we still love you. And I'm not really upset you won't marry me cuz I'm an American Jew; heck I've already been married 36 years now and raised x2 wonderful sons and it's the most awesome thing that's happened to me. My best wishes for the same for you. XXXOOO

PS Happy Yom Kippur!

Whole transaction will probably net you $4-5k, and you will wonder why you did it in the first place. (Your M has no desirable options)

A 5.5 gen with stick will be faster than an M35x, and the 5gen forum is more "lively" on the .org

I think OP knows.
As for others, I was just saying maxima is not a huge stepdown, clean ones go for $16k, and you lose money everytime buy and sell a car. As for mpg maxima gets about 21mpg. If the OP was trying to get into a $3k 4cyl car, it would make more sense.(financially)
