Admittedly, it is almost midnight right now, but the temperature in San Jose is a most pleasant 64 degrees F outside. San Francisco is at 55 degrees F ... shiver ...

Among the few nice things about living in California - more specifically, Northern CA. :yesnod

The weather in Phoenix last week was paradise compared to Pennsylvania. I can't even dry off from a shower because it is so damn humid.

My 240's a/c is like someone breathing on me with an ice cube in front of their mouth.

Was 102 here today with 70% humidity. (I live and work about 10-15 miles from Raleigh, NC.) And I work out in the heat. Shop at the Chevy dealer I work at has no AC. I swear, my next job will be in air conditioning. Should be against the law to make people work in these conditions!

And my 80 Datsun truck has no AC, so I'm not driving it... no way!

It's 10:13 PM, local time. 96*, feels like 96*. Relative humidity is 29% because it is going to rain tomorrow night. At lunch time, it was 9%. :D

Thought you would enjoy this. It's a cool way to measure your current heat index / level of misery. ;)

Type in your zip code and find the temperature and dew point.
http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/fin ... prise%20az

Take those numbers and plug them into this calculator.
http://www.easysurf.cc/cnver16.htm

Viola! You instantly know how miserable it is going to be. :)

Tomorrow at noon it will be 105* here with a dewpoint of 49. That translates into a heat index of 102.99 with 15.52% humidity. I can live with that.

Temp was 104 today with 80% humidity. We are out in the non-AC shop working on hot vehicles, the dumbass service manager comes out of his air conditioned office and tries to "motivate" us to work faster because we are all in slow motion due to the heat. Needless to say, all he did is piss everyone off. I think after hearing me and a few others tell him off, he got the message and went back inside!

Don't get me wrong, the guy is cool to work with, but sometimes he just doesn't think.

And all this week with temps in the high 90's to low 100's I have been driving the old Datsun with no AC. I get home the back of my shirt is soaked!

I put my dogs inside a utility room that has AC in my backyard everytime is over 98, but when the city order water restrictions due to the hot weather and no rain for days, I sacrifice my dogs and leave them under the trees close to the planted vegetables, so when they sweat (release all their saliva) they water my plants... ;)

Whoa, when the eff did you move?

It's been high 80's to low 100's in my area. I really came into this thread expecting random pics of hotties in tank tops though. Slightly disappointed.

That is the s*** that really pisses me off. I worked in a hot non AC'd shop with no fans, no ventalation, stacking tires in a small warehouse in 120+ hot degrees. The managers understood and let us take breaks when we needed it but their bosses were d!ck! I had been stacking tires for over an hour sweatin balls when I come in the front office to cool down. Theres nobody there at all and the bosses boss comes and tells us what to do and that we need to clock out to take breaks. That fat f***!! Meanwhile hes complaing his fata$$ how hot is just walking from his car to the front door. I sware those people need to die a slow and horrible death. I would f*** him up on the street if I could.

Anyways, its been feeling nice for the most part after that heat wave. Sunny and summerlike but not outragous even tho sometimes the humidity spikes.

I love heat.
And I love cooled seats. I can drive comfortably in 100+ degree weather with the windows down and sunroof open because the seat keeps me cool. No blasting A/C, nothing. Enjoy the heat AND stay sweat-free. Huzzah.

I drove a base-model Ranger as a DD for a couple years. It had no A/C. I don't remember it ever being a problem.

My last S13 didn't have A/C. Summers were brutal here.

Yeah, it's dry here and all, but when it's 115 outside, hot is hot. Any drive longer than 5-10mins was not fun. :(
