This is right... I am now the owner of Freds wonderful 1994 Q45t...

I cant say enough about this car.. The HICAS, sticky tires, new everything... Its a dream... Needed a fresher battery and I had one from my old Q.....

I will get pictures tomorrow of it in my driveway, as my camera has no batteries .....

By far the coolest thing on the car right now is the exhaust..... It sounds VERY muscle carish, and is still fairly silent at cruise.....

The bad news is, I think the knock sensors are bad on it ... No biggie, i have fresh ones and a harness waiting off my other Q..... For when I get bored

I can't believe you'd ever let another Q fill the spot once held by the Burgundy Beauty that was the Wes-mobile.

Congrats, a piece of the NICO legacy went into the right hands.

Congrats on your new ride Wes.....wanna hear about all the chicks digging your new ride tomorrow at school and I am sure your buds will love the sweet rims.

Did you all ever get the 6,500 shift point figured out?

I wish you were 18 and had a 1/4 track close to you. I would like to hear how it does in the 1/4 after you get it running perfectly. I am going to do some more runs on Nov. 5 & 6 (Friday & Saturday). The track opens at 4:30pm on Sat so I should be able to get some good video in daylight of my car doing a few 1/4 runs again.

QUick search, it's on Spike TV, hit the button and there's Wes at a prostitutes. All the punch lines are endless, and for anyone that's never met Wes, find a copy of Biloxi Blues.

Sorry, buddy Ferris is too cool, you couldn't pull that off.

LOL @ Fred...

Let me tell you guys, if you EVER have any chance to deal with Fred, go out of your way to... When I got the car, it was as spotless as it could be, with a full tank of gas... We still have to find the extra key and a couple other things, and for some reason, its not programming in my remote...

What I paid for the car is confidential, but it is much less than I think I should have

Rex... I have said this once, and I'll say it again... Your FIRST G50 is the best... This will never be the "same" as my crimson beauty, it will always be "better" but its going to take a while for it to feel like "my Q"...

Rob... I am 18! And we do have some 1/4 mile track near us, but they're all closed for the season... I want to get this car running even more perfect than it is right now before I really start doing times (not to mention getting the laughing gas working)...

Rover... Like I said, this car is still faster than my old Q, but there is a hesitation (especially at low end) that you can feel and its just not as powerful and you want it to be... I'll check the diagnostic codes this week and check the timing next time I can...

This car just needs a little (and when I say little, i mean LITTLE) TLC to be IMHO show car good... The rims I think are painted, and they need to be touched up in some places... But they'll be going off here pretty soon anyway for the winter tires (which Fred gave me).....

That is an INCREDIBLE Q. I'm sooo glad it went to a NICO member.

For those of you who haven't driven it, it truly is impressive. Think G35 sedan acceleration with more room and a healthy exhaust note.

Everybodys car needs a little TLC here and there unless it just came out of the shop. Even mine needs a turn of the wrench here and there but I was only in town for 3 days and now I am at the airport again using the WiFi in the AA lounge...first time using it and it works good. I will get my car to the shop before I run it in Nov. (I hope).

I can't wait till you get it just the way you want it and then hear your about your awesome ET's that you will be running at the track next Spring.

Well..... I have some good news, some great news, and some annoying news...

1. THE NITROUS WORKS!!! Fred, im gonna call you out on this one (but Im glad we didnt waste Hal's expertise on this)... There were 2 little connectors near the bottle that needed to be plugged in... Just flip on the switch, and I got a WOOSHING sound in the TB..... I havent had a chance to try it out yet, since its really wet outside, but its enough for me know its there... Basically, I gotta fill the fuel cell with race gas, and Im all good..... I also dont think this car has cats...

2. The KS arent bad..... So either something else is iffy (timing is probably a little off)... But I wont be pulling the plenum anytime soon *wipes forehead*

3. There are a few annoying things, like the ash tray is broken, shift lock (youll notice the golf tee in the console, and I use that to press the override button), and the HVAC fan squeals like hell when its cold... will probably replace it with the one from my Q.....

SO as promised here are the pictures... I will write up on the car, once I figure everything out... Its raining out, so picutres arent really good....

Wes:You dont have to run the race gas to do the Nirous,The JWT ECU is supposed to noitice from the settings you are not runnign race gas and compensate accordingly.

Very nice Wes. I hope you enjoy it. No TCS. That's going to be a ***** in the winter. No biggie. When I was your age, I had to drive a POS, RWD 79 Impala with no TCS and no LSD. I did fine. Good thing you have snow tires.
