So not sure were to put this but mine as well ask it here. I recently purchased a S13 SR Blacktop and am on the search for parts. I'm looking on Enjuku Racing and checking out prices there. My main question is whats up with these ISIS parts? There way cheaper than name brand stuff which makes me think there really s***ty, but I have no clue. Anyone know anything or had experience with this brand? Here's an example. http://enjukuracing.com/isis-i...24_62

Thanks

yea you should be fine.. it takes a pretty hacked up exhaust to make an sr exhaust sound terrible.. i cant wait to see some dyno proven numbers on there intake mani.. 180$ thats almost to good to be true

enjuku reviews the intake manifolds, they've said good things. search for it and it may help you decide for certain.

as long as the casting is smooth and the runners dont warp its ok. its based of the greddy so it'll flow fine.

on the other hand greddy made a ver. 2 of their IM

I hope they turn out ok, i ordered manifold back exhaust from enjuku all ISIS, n1 dual tip, cept im using catco hiflow cat instead of test pipe to maintain inspection status. Still in the mail, but the reviews sounded pretty good considering the price, ill have to make a review or something when i get it all installed. I haven't seen isis anywhere but Enjuku, which is wierd, but they(enjuku) generally have less crap parts then other 240 sites ive seen..

i talked to enjuku about the same thing about a year ago and told them i was running a knock off intake mani and they told me that what they run on thier cars. i have no prob with mine. plus imo its just an intake manif as long as it flows more air than stock that works for me. most track cars have custom built mani to flow as much air as possible. u dont need the name brand. if it wont crack and it does the same thing as greddy i give it my word

You guys know that ISIS is just generic Ebay parts being sold under a "brand name" at a higher cost, right?

When i searched ebay i didn't find any 3 inch stainless catbacks with dual tips, just a bunch of low-quality-weld-having barrel tipped loud a** cat back with the silencer looking retarded all clearly visible screwed in one inch from the back. That's what i experienced when comparing the two at least...

the turbo lines are great.. but althought it MIGHT be true about the ebay thing i highly doubt that enjuku would sell faulty parts.. such as manifolds that dont fit right etc.. you get what you pay for but im confident enjuku is getting you good stuff..

not everything from ebay is junk... cmon you cant tell me you have nothing on your car from ebay. yes there are some shady garage made , basement made things on there but some of the dealers are very reparable. like frsport who have adds on nico. ericsproperformance. heavy throttle. i could go on and on. but ne ways. most of you keep talking about an exhaust if im not mistaken but the poster put a link to enjukus knock off intake manifold........im lost....please enlighten me

If you go on enjukus site its on their.. Wat it looks like to me is ebay parts that have been tested by a reputable company to work.. So no hoping it works when you buy ebay parts.. But like I said you get what you pay for but for certain parts isis looks like a winner

You can show me an ISIS part, and I'll find a match for it on Ebay. Unless they've made anything original recently. I know the new dual straight-pipe exhaust is original, although the front half is still the generic Ebay exhaust front half, and even the rear is the same "Ebay quality" that everyone loves to hate, with material, hangers, and welds identical to the exhausts solds on Ebay.

By the way, do not get me wrong, I am not trying to put down Ebay parts. I just think it is funny when someone who considers themselves to be above Ebay parts buys ISIS, as I have seen on here before.

I'd love to see a company make a legitimate match to the greddy design.

so many copies and not enough new R & D.

lol isis is a good brand, i got a few parts from them...

If you want to talk about finding ebay part matchups I can find greddy parts off ebay too. same with hks...same with EVERY BRAND. isis is good and enjuku racing is an amazing company that would sell ebay junk. even most ebay "junk" isn't that bad...just don't be an idiot and buy something like a turbo that will destroy your car..and intake mani or an exhaust mani you can't mess up that much other than fitment..

I dunno man all I know is that the turbo lines I know for a fact are quality the guy above claims the mani is good the shortshifter has been said to be good and the exhausts as well.. Whatever works bro.. Im ordering the shortshifter and when I go 350+hp looks like that mani is an option for me shoot man im only an 18 year old who spends all his money on car parts any bit helps..
