I know, i dont have much of a reputation around here, but i created this account only to inform the public about isis parts.I have bought several isis parts and i should have stopped purchasing, after the 1st product The first product i purchased was the 3 inch turbo outlet:after having installed about two weeks the outlet expanded with the heat, to the point where it partially covered the nut/studs at the outlet and downpipe, cheap A** material.I also bought the isis thermostat for the sr20det:within 2 months the black rubber seal inside the thermostat failed, very lucky it did not blow my headgasket. The isis sr20det starter:A week after installation an internal issue would accur, the starter would make a loud winding sound as if it was still turning after i would turn the ignition to the OFF position,i had to disconnect the signal harness from the ignition to the starter for it to stop. In my opinion, when it comes to important parts i'd rather look elsewhere, and if you value fitment and actual performance stick to aftermarket companies that can back up their statements,i wouldn't be surprised if this post gets deleted, since im having a difficult time searching for people with the same issues.and dont believe all their product reviews its obvious they do all their own reviews.4-5 stars for all the products, what a shame :(

I do get a kick out of these people who by a cheap part, drive on it for a month with no problems and then sing the company's praises. Auto parts, quality ones that is, are engineered to last hundreds of thousands of miles. So you can't simply say "hey I've been riding on these $100 RUCA's for 3 months now with no problems, they must be the real deal!" Give it a year, give it two, then get back to me. Years and miles are what separate the quality from the crap. Of course most of our type of crowd doesn't keep a car for more than a couple of years before crashing it or moving on to the next project, so there's your market for cheap parts I guess.

I have an Isis t25/28 replacement turbo and it has about 5k miles on it. It has a rediculous amount shaft play after so few miles.

I havnt read this whole thread but if you live in florida and youre local to enjuku, isis is where its at. My car has a variety of isis parts. ive had bc coils and IMO i personally like my isis pro 2's alot more. Their rear arms are great. intercooler piping is great. I also have some nice parts of course but ISIS is actually pretty nice for the money. Ive never had any problems!

Clearly you didn't read my post, two posts above yours. Or any of OutToWin's posts. I'll say it again, drive that car for a year or two, or 5 or 10, then get back to me on the quality of cheap aftermarket parts.

Well i cant speak much for myself because i have not used my car on the street much at all. I do however have friends that have had their cars for years and drift them at events. They still work. I feel it depends on what you buy. Idk thats just me though. If something breaks, replace it with a better part. But i do believe in having really nice parts dont get me wrong.

Only ISIS product I have is the steering bushing. My car is hard parked at the moment, I hope the aluminum doesn't shred and end my life!

I just saw this looking back over the first 2 pages. I'm glad they were sold out when I purchased them from ace up around last Christmas. Kinda makes you wonder if they really did sell out or they pulled them for being unsafe. That looks like death given the right circumstances. And I read somewhere before that Enjuku had something to do with these parts as far as designing or something. At least the fuel pump won't wreck your a**.

ISIS is hit or miss. If you buy from Enjuku, Ken stands behind everything they sell.

I'm not a big fan of knock-offs because I think they stifle innovation and eventually kill the performance market for their intended target. That said, they have a place when companies stop making a product or you just need something simple and cheap as a temporary solution. When you modify a car with good quality products, chances are it's going to cost a lot of money.

Would I try an ISIS product with moving parts or electronics? Nope. Would I try a racing intake or diversion panel (no idea if they make it) that is basically a hunk of metal? Sure. I have one of the very first production runs of the ISIS S13 SR20DET racing intakes and it's held up fine for years.

Bottom line: Shop at a good ISIS retailer so if you have problems, they will replace it. Use the proceeds from selling the replacement or the store credit to save toward a name brand :)

i finished swapping my subframe and installing the new bushing kit in the rear, got to take my car around the block a few times, no p/s and old bushings in front. but the steering felt pretty good, like i said above i bought the ISIS steering bushing ($25?). cut down on the slack when turning, plus i like the gold anodized finish. to bad its up there where you cant see it. thats another reason i liked the ISIS basic coils, color, price, camber adjustment, but i guess ill wait to save up for some better coilovers. but as for the Steering bushing $25 aint bad and it did help and as voiddweller said its just a hunk of metal.

I picked up the ISIS S14 water neck. Not as good as OEM. The casting is rough but a Scotch Brite pad took care of it. Just stick with their simple parts. I also picked up an exhaust. The fit is decent and the welds are good. I'll post back after a year on the car. Again, not a sophisticated part and Enjuku has great customer service in the event it fails.
