My 350 is my daily driver.

If funds allow ( and they wont if I get my ProCharger) I am toying with the idea of a 2 year used SPEC-V as a daily.

But right now the Z is the daily, as evidenced by its 12,600 miles on the odo (bought new Sept 20th 04)

Fred..

hahahahaha amen to that!

Anyway....I have a TT Z32. Doesn't see snow or rain or any of that junk. Just a toy for the summer.

Now that's a hard one.....you can get the 2 year old spec's with low miles for like 11-12K (I've been eye balling them too) but FI is so nice on any car. For once in my life I'm going to be realistic and say.....get the daily.

1990 n/a Z. used to be a daily driver running consitant low 14s with a best 14.08@104 then i made a stupid highway run with a SS camaro (which i won) a spun rod bearing and a screwed up JDM motor later the Z sits in a state of i drive her once a month just to keep everything in running order. one day though one day very soon (if she isnt sold) shes gonna be a nice little TT.

My 350z has only been in the rain twice. Once was at an out of town Nico meet and the other time I had to get it home from the window tint shop.

Spec V's are great cars. I had one for a year and a half and traded it in on my Z.

I drive a 03 Vibe as my DD (Company car).

Right now its not really doing anything Before, it was only daily driven when all the other cars were broken. Its seen a number of autoX's the last 2 years and one drag strip visit.

Ive got 2 Zs.. a 81 (s130) 280ZX and a 05 (Z33) 350Z... my 350 is my daily... and i use my 280 when i want to be noticed... the 350 kinda gets lost in the crowd but my 280 is the attention getter...

that is a really clean S130, they never seem to get the respect they deserve, I guess they are so different from the rest of the bubbles on the road today that people notice them now, and the wail tail has a way of making a car stand out as well

Um...buying an FD to put miles on and use in bad weather is probably not a good idea...

If you have an FD and a Z, make the Z your daily driver because it has a less testy engine and is probably less capable on a track than an FD anyway.

I've been driving my Z32 non stop all week, its even supposed to rain today and I still drove it to work. I will also drive it to my second job tonight, oh and the radio doesnt really work. I just love driving it! My DD is a 95 Accord EX with a slushbox and it runs great, even with 250k miles.

Z33 daily driver. Get's good mileage on the freeway (for what I'm used to) I don't mind the 6 speed in the traffic, I just love the car. I welcome any opportunity to drive it. My business is mobile, so this Z will see some serious miles, but every mile will put a smile on my face.

Z32 TT. It is my Weekend/Pleasure car. Got a 85 Jeep CJ7 for the daily grind.

And to whoever said they wanted an FD as a Daily Driver....Thats just not smart. An FD Is by far a Better track car, and the Z is by far a Better DD. You can defy convention all you want...but I hope you got deep pockets And I dont speak from speculation...I just sold my FD last Monday
