correct sir, i think people underestimate the Zs track abilities, and i think the FD is just way to beautiful a car to not drive it everyday. im determind to show everyone that it can be reliable.

yea ive heard mixed opinions on the reliability of an rx7, im pretty sure it depends on how you drive it, i mean anyone can blow up a freshly built sr20 within a few days or it can last years.

I think that the mods factor into the life of a car as well. If you don't get the right suporting mods then your in for a short life car.

I know of a few FD's that are very reliable.

You dont have to Prove that the FD's are Reliable. Its been Proven for years. There are many people out there that drive their FD's every day and do just fine. But, Most of them are Bone Stock, Or very close to it, and the Owners show complete dedication to the cars maintenance wise...

The only reason they get a bad rap Is because people Throw all sorts of Aftermarket crap on them and then dont tune correctly.....and if they get it tuned properly they dont maintain it as they should....

Its easier to talk about Daily Driving and Maintaining an FD than it is to actually do it...lol

yeah, i know not EVERYONE thinks they are unreliable, ive been reading everything i could for the last couple months about FD problems, so i tend to exagerate the doubt, i know a few people with good rx7s that im getting advice from.
