God knows there was nothing else to do during that movie.

This is VIP.

im glad SOME people actually know what VIP is... there is (and i say this thoughtfully) NOTHING VIP about a 240. What? You have some b@ll3r @$$ d33p di$h rims on a 240 with a s***ty paint job and a snow-plow body kit? Great. Im sure NOPI and Hot Import Nights have a spot open to showcase your janky @ss "whip", or "drop", or whatever retarded name you gave it.

It was said that Autolux is to VIP, what 30 seconds to mars is to metal. I respectfully disagree. Reason being i dont think that statement does this thread justice. Making a 240 VIP is like putting a fat chick in a g-string. It looks wrong, it burns the senses, you wish you never saw it, but you cant stop staring because, well, its just so f***3d up. its like when you drive by a car accident and you cant help but stare.

VIP: includes, but is not limited to,

It takes years of training your eyes to be able to distinguish VIP.

I think the closest a 240 can get to VIP is "baller status". There is a difference.

Baller status:

the common problem is that nothing goes through their heads before after or during.

Ze problem is, there is no proper term for this car style. Baller status sounds dumb, so people resort to calling it VIP.

Then the VIP fanboys cry about it.

Egads.

There IS a name for it though, VIP Style. AS long as the OP knows his car can't be VIP, but rather VIP Style, all is good. OP: Just do it how YOU want it, and don't worry about labels.

Best definitions of VIP and VIP Style ...
VIPStyleCars.com wrote:In Japan there is a large variety of luxury sedans available to purchase. VIP car starts with just that, the platform or the car. It’s not a VIP Car unless it starts with one of these cars. From Toyota, you have the Century, Celsior, Aristo, Crown, and Majesta. From Nissan you have the President, Cima, Gloria, Cedric, and the Q45.

...

350Zs, G35s, Scions, Accords, and other cars are defining the VIP Style Car… VIP Style Cars was mainly a term devised to help define the difference from a VIP Car platform and a car accessorized with VIP styling.
The thing about VIP Styling a 240 that's pointless IMO is that it doesn't have a luxurious interior. Can't say I've ever met a secretary with 10j's and a $5,000 bodykit on their car either.

Yeah when I see the VIP cars it just makes me want one instead of emulating. such as:

vip style or autolux still looks sick on the 240 imo

that black Gloria with the wheels that look like Veilsides is baller as phuck

s-chassis cars cannot and will never be VIP cars...just cant be

You can put baller wheels on it and do it up like that, doesnt make it VIP

(Basically a whole other rant re-iterating what mzeo said)You all are missing the WHOLE point, because of ONE word you're not paying attention to in the title. lol

->STYLE.<-

240's will NEVER be VIP. BUT, they CAN be VIP-STYLE. That's the main reason the term was coined. So those without VIP platforms can edge into a grey area, and still get recognized. True VIP starts with the car itself. A stock VIP car, is still VIP. A non-VIP car, can be made VIP-style by following the "strict" modification guidelines found on some forums and in some people's heads. (and whatever you feel like)Some people would seriously consider slapping you for saying "My S-chassis is VIP", but, you could generally get away with "My S-Chassis is VIP-Styled"

B.T.W. My car is V.I.P. This has been another completely pointless P.S.A.

The rims on the FD are polished, as are the rest of the wheel. As for the brand, not sure, but they're way too big for the car. No need to quote 5 pics
