Stutt944-You are right, the WRX is a sport compact car. Not a sportscar. With so many cross overs from one class to another, its getting harder to define what a sports car is or what a full size luxury car is.

S&#233bastien Loeb beat Gr&#246nholm by 3 seconds in Rally Deutschland (there's an hour long recap on the Speed Channel tonight at 6pm EST).

I must admit, on gravel Gr&#246nholm seems unstoppable as long as the Peugeot doesn't self destruct. I'm not shocked that he lost to Loeb on ashpalt, as S&#233bastien is damn fast on asphalt.

Still, due to the new points system, Richard Burns is still sitting in the #1 position. He hasn't been spectacular, but very consistent.

wheres a zoomifyer when you need one ;)

IMO, the EVO is a very good looking car except for the tail lights (did other countries get non-ricified tail lights? can they swap out with the regular lancer taillights?). I have seen both a STI and EVO8 in person and the mitsu looks better.

If i had 30 large to spend on a new car the EVO would be it, no doubt about it. And for the record, i love STIs too, just not as much. :D

i havent seen an STi in persona, and until then i will hold my judgement, but tonite i saw two evo8's, a red one (modded, driver claims 12.8s, and i know him so i know he's not lyin) and a stock silver one, both very badass lookin, but i dunno if i would take a new STi over one or not, itd be a tough decision, not to mention teh 35oZ is always in the back of my mind

I like the WRX better then the STI. Just how I feel. Plus the pink STI stickers kinda gayish the car to me. Pink.. A girl's color. A girly girl at that. Just spouting off MHO

hmmm...gtr's are like really hot fat chicks too

I wonder what kind of car Freddie Mercury would drive, assuming he loves fat bottomed girls as much as he lets on, oh yeah, STi's are cool and all, but I think the Evo is the better, not that I'll ever get the chance to drive either one,as well as a R32, R33, R34 or whatever the new GT-R is gonna be. everyone should be thankful of the Audi Turbo Quattro Sport though, grandaddy of em all.

Ya Sorry man. An EVO VI is gonna have to take preference for me over a GTR... Now a GTS on the other hand with an RB25... Now that would be a hot chick.

uhhh the evo is too bulbous. its like an overweight mitsu mirage with 3x the horsepower. they're trying too hard, and they're turning the sport car segment into one big pile of ****: "the midside-crossover-four-door-silver-transportation-thing." the automotive world is doomed.

out of those given choices, the GTR seems to be the clear winner, and after that, the STi

EVO's and STi's have the same weight!

funny stuff, we need more car wars like the old Mustang Camaro wars...the vette viper war is ok though, the new viper is supposed to be pretty bad, though most comparisons people take the Z06 vette over it, I personally see the GT-R being more closely related to those two instead of an EVO or an STi being that those are both more rally oriented....but hey, my two cents are like comparing canadian to american dollars.

I agree. The GTR probably is in a different class. I guess it was the AWD system that made me rank it with the Evo and STI.

What I'd do for a GTR, STI, AND an EVO sitting in my driveway...

id def say the GT-R is more street oriented, and is def quicker than both the STi and EVO8, of course for 57k, its still not as fast as the 4o5hp zo6

Gotta give props for the Z06. 400+ horsepower out of the factory is mean. And the potential is definetly there.

yea, the ls6 is an amazing motor, and for the price, wow. But the reason they are so cheap is because that car is all motor, sure the suspension is nice and the handling and chassis are great, but interior isnt anything to write home about. It doesnt come with HIDs and heated seats and a luxurious audio set up, but hey for performance per dollar, u can't beat it

There are so many Integras and Civics out here in California.... A ricer's paradise I always say. I bet only 1/10 is left stock. Another 1/10 might have some real performance upgrades. The other 8/10... BLING BLING

For every sticker, it's like an additional 30 horse power ;)
