After sitting in the STI's seats... I realized even if I liked it over the Evo8, the seats alone would have to go. They hurt my back and I can imagine how it would be on long trips.

This 23 year old has a 40 year old back and right leg. Curse sports injuries.

The G35 is an ugly car for old people, for my money if I wanted a 4dr luxo car I'd get an IS300. You could have a LOT of fun with a 2jzgte powered IS (way more than a turbo G35). The coupe looks better but that front grill still has to go.

I'm lookin at an RX-8, WRX, EVO, S4, or IS300 for my next car. Dunno which I'm gonna go for yet but that's months away anyhow. I think it's all gonan depend on money at the time, and what mods I'm gonna want to do. I think the audi is out cuz it's fat (but I have a love affair with them from a long way back) the IS would be great if I can get a good price on a 2jz lined up (used car and used motor to save a few bucks) if I go WRX I'll get a '01 or so and build it up with the money I save, otherwise the Evo would kick much azz. I also am starting to like the RX-8. With a base price of 26k (which is the one I want without the heavy crap like a sunroof or leather) I think that's one heck of a deal.

who knows, but like I said I dont' have the money right now to even worry about it.

I actually like the ls300. And with the Supra motor... It would scream.

But my preferences are still WRX or Evo. For brand new cars.

If I didn't have my 180sx

yeah. don't make fun of the IS 300. it started the whole altezza-tailight movement. geez. give some credit where it's due i say ;)

seriously the IS300 is a bad *** car. and probably easily attained at a decent price.

as far as wanting a WRX and thinking it's wrong?

you must of fell down the stairs and cracked your skull son

i am probably the biggest subaru freak ever. and i own a nissan. subaru's are pricey. but nothing like awd practicality plus a turbo=heaven. i won't comment on the mitsu.

I don't quite understand the low opinion of the Evo. Sure, it doesn't look as appealing as the older Evos overseas, but it is a badass car. After seeing one in person, my beliefs in it are re-affirmed.

After seeing the STI in person, I also had to comment about that hood scoop. Where did they pick that size up from? Some cave in South America? The thing is HUGE. Even if it is a functioning scoop. That's the first thing u notice.

Oh and lets not mention the pink STI all over the car. I don't care if it's the STI traditional markings. Ewww..

I'd rather have a WRX over the STI ANYDAY. I'm sorry. But the 6spd transmission, the .5 litre more displacement, and the extra 75 horsepower isn't gonna cut it for me when the STI looks more like a pig. IMO

i also like the is3oo, however its down aout 65hp on the G, and doesnt look as good, and is about the same price, so my choice would be clear, if i couldnt have the rx8 that is

The G35 just doesn't appeal to me that much. Even thoe 350z I don't really find much attraction to them. But that's just me.

yea, the 350Z, G35, and to a lesser extent the STi are all pretty ugly cars IMHO. The lexus has WAY more potential than the G anyhow.

i wouldnt neccasarily say any lexus has more potential than any infiniti, it may be true in some lexus's and some infinit's , but not all, thats for sure, and i know the potential of the is3oo, ive seen a daily driven one with a ps2 in it run 11.9s at the track, yellow, nice lookin, a video can be found at http://www.racingflix.com

I paid MSRP which came out to be about 31K by the time it was said and done.

Paul,I can't believe you think the STI and EVO look better than the G and the Z.:bonghit You've done gone loco brotha! I'm slightly biased with my recent purcahse but regardless the G35, especially the coupe, is dead f'n sexy! :boink i'd dry hump the clear coat off of those things. But ugly or not I tore up some $90K Porsches last weekend. Now my girl is into road courses, so I think we're gonna look for a used WRX.

the G35 coupe is better looking, but the fron grill is still kinda ugly. I really wish I could buy an 'old' evo :(

Oh wait, I forgot that I just picked up a George Forman grill last night. I'll throw that in there with no extra charge. :D

But now Tommi Makinen is racing for the best team. Subaru! It has been a tough year.

I see the car being the only sweetest thing on there.. Well maybe the gurl on the farthest right and maybe the center one.. but the others are giving the car a bad rep... lol-Jack

Nothing wrong with foreign women... its just kinda hard to tell whos the women in the picture.. LoL One looks like her B/F beat her the nite before.. and the other looks like her sponsor ran over her face with those tires they represent... Much love for the center and last gurl though and the car :)-Jack

cars are too expensive for me. i'd love a new car with a warranty, especially a badass new car, like a WRX. but face it...it's not a sports car. it does everything quickly and cleanly with sporty flair...but its still not a sports car. why stretch your funds so thin and spend 30 grand on something like that?
