Is it annoying when....

You know tobacco is what saved the lives of the five survivors of Palm flight 90 that crashed in DC back in the 80's. Everybody that got out sat in the back of the plane so they could be in the smoking section. Saw that on the History channel the other night. A horrible tragedy.
Anyway, I think this whole sue the tobacco company's horse s#$% is for the birds. I smoke and know the risk associated with it. I knew the risk when I was a kid. Anyone that says they didnt know need to be under a parents supervison for the rest of their lives, because they must be a little slow. It is this rediculous law suits that has me paying an extra dollar for a pack of smokes.

the reason they show thos is because they have hidden msg in them, that makes you wanna smoke.. teen smoking went up by like 1.5% or somthing after they started running thos TRUTH ads and other anti-smoking ads, and for some reason after seeing them i get the hankering for a cig reeeeally bad.. go figure..
I hate em too. Its just like the guy that bought an RV and put it on cruise control then went in the back to make a sandwich. He ended up crashing and sued the makers of the RV because he thought cruise control was a form of auto pilot and that none of the manuals stated that cruise control didnt mean auto pilot. I think he won but not sure.

WTF? u serious? oh wow, that shows how some people are so dumb and living in utopia, and thinking that our technology is so advanced that we can create cars that drives itself to avoid accidents WHAHAHA

well actually all the newer upper class cars kinda do. they have the ability to slow down one its own when they come close to the car infront of them and speed up when the car infront accelerates. thats in cruise control of course

I know that some of the newer Jaguars do it. But I think it is only the supercharged models as an option. Uses radar kind of like the backup sensors for soccor mom SUV's. Doesn't work while going around a very sharp bend, like some on ramps. My best friend over at Jag was telling me about it. Pretty neat stuff.
Yeah, my speedo hasnt worked for about 2 years also... I just haven't been in the mood to rip out the dash and look for the reason... already checked all fuses/relays and theyre all good... My ignition switch is going so I need o replace that, I don't know if that could have anything to do with it.
And as far as the truth commercials, I was angry to see one tonight, sometihng about kids smoking again... I was thinking, who cares? Its there fault, turn this **** off and put on something good... Commercials kinda sucked this superbowl, cept for a few like the Bud Light commercial with the horse farting in that womans face, that was good.
The game was pretty damn good though...

I know it is the speedo because the cruise still works fine. As for the the commercials, they still suck. I just hate how they think they need to be so graphic. I guess they think our society is so used to violence and things of that nature from tv. So they go the extra mile to shock us into believing their campaign. So stupid. I think that is why I don't watch tv very much anymore
