oh once i heard that a hispanic female professor at my university actually sued "Joy" (the dish soap company) for not putting spanish warning on the bottle.. coz apperently she thought the bottle was lemon juice so she used it to cook..since there was a lemon on the bottle!! but funny, she was here in the USA, not Spain, not South America, so shouldnt she learn ENGLISH??!!

Well, I'm talking about little kids like 12 years old and under...

I don't find the commercials annoying and I used to smoke stoges when I was like 13-14 years old. That stuff is so middle school & high school though. Some people just can't get rid of the habit until they die from lung cancer. All my friends smoke and everytime we play ball they can't freaking hang with me.. I ask them what's wrong, and they always say the reason why they can't keep up is because I don't smoke.

yea seriously, if anything those commercials make me want to try. they make such a huge deal out of it that it makes kids (in general) curious about them. kids will always do things that are against the laws/rules just because of curiousity and wanting to test the limits.

well she is teaching now, not then. now she speaks english just fine, but back then, i she was only an immigrant.

my mom had me take hit off a cigarette when i was between 3-5 yrs old. the burning senstion made me never want to touch another cigarette as long as I live. So now, I am smoke free...except for second hand smoke

it's true that the commercials got us talking about them, but funny thing is that we are adults who already knew smoking is bad for you and can cause cancer, but for kids that didnt know about the harm in tobacco, they probably wanted to try just because they can, or to be rebellious.

and to those that already KNEW the harm, it's freaking annoying. actually the "educational commercials" are not annoying, it's the idea that they are putting out there, they are putting "tobacco companies are evil because they dont care that people die from their products yet they still produce them", but they should be just educate not blame, so it's more like "tobacco is bad for you, my uncle, grandfather died from lung cancer cause by tabacco"

i just think they need to stop blaming that sh*t on others, and start to really "educate"
