dont be knocking the american Initial D dvd. nothing was changed! there if the original 1st season on there. no names were changed, and it certainly isnt required that you play it dubbed over in english. there is also the "tricked-out" version, if you're a dumbass and want to watch that.

They still toned down parts of the subbed version. Mostly the parts where mogi is a whore. they turned down audio and changed the lines a bit. Eva was a good series, but it gets way too much hype. Not knocking it in any way.Pretty good review of ID. vol. 1 http://www.animeondvd.com/revi...5.php

Also have you guys priced the TokyoPop version. It is like 20-25 dollars for one dvd with only three episodes. For anyone who has seen the anima that doesnt even conver the first battle. I will stick with HK versions.
