Yea, I learned that the hard way. My last 240 had a great suspension, but I didn't realize how much more important it was than power till I got a car with power and now can't keep it on the ground! I would definatly put suspension before power if I do it again.

nothin better than learning about that as you find out how fast your SR puts your car in the ditch

edit: i would put LSD above the suspension though, i like driving my 240 better than a SR equipped one with no lsd

I already have LSD, but I COMPLETELY agree. I think it should be EVERY 240 owners FIRST mod.

PS - I should say that I HAD and LSD, I think I've managed to blow it. But since it was a stock VLSD w/about 160K miles on it, I'm not complaining.

An Iowa meet would be great. The spring/early summer would be a perfect time. I have to wait till schools out. Maybe I'll have time to get my next 240 running or I will have to bring the maxima. Nick

i think my lsd is still ok b/c it only has to deal with one hundred-some horse power if i had more power than that im thinking it might need replaced

Hehehe, just wait till it does! I was reading an article about the SC 350Z and they tore up the stock LSD the first time they took it out to drift it. I guess they stuck some big fat sticky tires on the back and when they went to do a burnout it just shredded the viscous coupler (basically what happened to mine) and so they replaced it w/a NISMO unit. (which is what I'm going to replace mine with)

have you done things like changed the plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter? Those things will make more of a difference than you think.

Timing, I'll almost gurantee your timing is severely retarded. Mine felt sluggish getting it back fromt eh shop because they didn't set the timing right.

alright, well check injectors and all your vacuum lines. I'd also check the ecu itself. Check all engine grounds and the maf tolerances
