Yikes yikes yikes, I did not realise insurance rates in the US were so crazy.

In Australia, I pay $AU 1090 per 12 months for full comprehensive insurance (full replacement/payment at market value), with no acess fee for first claim, $300 there after, and this is on an imported (grey import) 350GT/G35. I'm 24/m.

For the equivilant AU market 350Z, you'd be looking at around the same price, so I'm pretty stoked.

Don't know exactly what ours is right off hand, but we are with Traveler's thru our credit union which gives us a group rate.Geico called one day wanting us to switch. It was going to cost about $60 more per month.

So, I would encourage you guys to check & see if there is a credit union you can join and if they offer insurance at a group rate. Our credit union requires you to put $5 in a saving account to join. There are other benefits like low loan rates.

I was always wondering what they really do. I thought they give you loans only. We have one in the city. It is close to my bank. I never ben in it. Recently I looked for a better rate than my saving account gives. I should see if they have good rates also.
