Wow. Any info on where you ordered the lights and switch? Did you do it yourself? If not, where did you get it done?

Thanks Doc! Is the hole necessary for the switch?

Yes, the switch is like .75 inches, so I bored it out using a drill first, and then a dremel... it looks very sleek and barely noticeable... plus I did it on a piece where, had I messsed up, it only costs like $10 to replace

Doc, if I want the footwell lights to come on only at the same time as the dome light, like when I unlock or open the doors, (not when I manually turn on the dome light with its switch) where exactly should I tap into the wiring? Is there a particular fuse I can run a wire from?

well, you could do it, no problem... my guess is that you would need to find the actual wire that runs from the Body Control Module to the dome light, and connect it to that wire. That can be done either near the BCM or up at the dome light itself.

If you do it at the dome light, you could just run the power and ground wires inside the headliner, over to the door, down the door pillar, and then to the LED footwell lights. It's a pretty neat idea, I could definately do that for you, if I was in Pittsburgh..lol... no but seriously, any custom or audio shop should be able to do that for you!

You may actually be able to connect it to the dome light fuse at the fuse box... I would try that first, then, if you don't want to go through the hassle of searching for the correct wire from the BCM, then you could do it at the dome light itself!
