I got intouch with AIT again.... it doesnt look like anything is going to happen until after SEMA (if it does happen)... I am trying to figure out how I can swing getting out to vegas for 2 days to try and seal the deal for us on this!

No you haven't missed anything. As far as I know there is no group buy for this yet.
However, I did sealed a full sponsorship for the trunk which should be arriving by the end of this week hopefully. I'll call my contact and see if there can be a possibility of a group buy once I get the trunk lid and check out the craftsmanship and quality. Stay tuned!

from the pics, this looks like one of the best aesthetic mods out there for the coupe. Not a fan of CF so I would have to paint it OEM if I decided to purchase this. Can't wait to see actual pics and a report on this!
Edit: Forgot I have a backup cam on mine..how would this work?

I have the same package as you; tech pkg. When you but the trunk that's all you get, just the trunk. You'll need to strip off everything from your existing trunk and transfer them over to the new one, including the trunk finisher moulding that houses the backup cam, license plate lights, and trunk release.
