Installing Megasquirt - dizzy pick up

Guys i am helping a buddy battle with megasquirt. Its v3 msI going onto 93 coupe. We have everything hooked up , car turns over and injectors fire. But:we are not getting rpm signal and coil isn't firing.Controller is connected to megatune, all the settings are set as per directions.Coil is running off 2 wires: 1 12 volt and 2nd negative goes to pin 36 on the squirt. For dizzy pick up we connected:B/W 12v+ same wire as coil and it gets 12v.White to MS Pin 24 on the way there resistored to 12v source and connected to tach itself.Black GrounddedBlack Groundded.

YAH i seen that write up. Just talks about wiring it up not the initial set up. There is many settings to enter as well for initiL mq file.megamanual has been a great tool.

1 I wired it up based on the diagram in the thread , but my ecu came prebuild for ka24 dizzy so i didn't need additional resistor on dizzy signal wire(there was one inside the ecu already, 2 of them made ecu display 0 rpm). 2 ecu has jumpers inside that need to be set to fire coil directly and to read rpm signal via pin 24. (EVEN THAW IT WAS BUILD FOR KA24 dizzy /coil , U NEED TO CHECK THEM 1 of mine was not jumped)

otherwise its runnning as of a few days ago!!! whoohoo buddy is quiet happy.

yah car is parked in the garage haha his on vacation. ka24det with ssa auto t3/4 kit with fmic, ms and 460cc inj.
