Installed Upgraded Perf. ECU/ Busted Acura TL K20's ***

Installed Upgraded ECU tonight and made sure everything was functioning correctly. Then while I was on the way back home from test drive white Aura passed100plus MPH.The red light ahead caught him and you know what came next. I pulled beside him and I could here him patten the gas Borla Exhaust on his Acura TL K20 was singing sweet music to me saying come whip-up on this ***! I put trans. in 1st gear and pre-loaded my 91Q and I looked over at him and pointed ahead and he said OK. I said its show time baby! The light turned green and I left the line with a loud chirp.By the time I hit second it was lights out the Q always made great power but, now the low end torque was screaming as the RPM's rose. I struck 3rd and then fourth and by that time he was 6 to 8 cars back and I looked down and I was at 125 MPH. I lifted off the throttle and he passed me shaking his head! We stopped at next light and he said what the F''k do you have in that car Dude? He told me that he had $20,000 dollar K20 and tons of other work done to his car. I told him I was virtually stock and then the lights turned green!

I myself dont really condone street racing, but the other night i was gettin on I-35 here in KS.So a Camaro SS (f body, not sure what yyear) so he decides hes gonna floor it and ride my *** on the on ramp.at the bottomn of the ramp i scooch over to the right a bit and let him just start to pass me, he floors it, and so do I.

Just let m say it looked like he was going 2 mph as i rocketed off from him. I could even hear that stupid 350 winding up as much as it could. My first race too

Man, I got smoked yesterday by a freakin' Hyundai Sonata. The new one hauls ***!

Q needs better gearing, that's for sure.

That sucks you got spanked by a Hyundai. I got taken by a Dodge Neon on an onramp one time and I didn't like that at all. Of course it was a turbo SRT4 neon and they are quite fast, still a neon tho. That was pre NICO ECU tho, REMATCH!

The new Hyundai Sonata's come in either 4 or V-6 with 235 HP and 226 Torque. They come with five speed automatic trans. or 5 speed manual trans.

Who are you asking what ECU? I have the NICO ECU programmed by Robert, which is the ECU that all the buzz is about on this forum.

I think you raced a TSX not the 258 HP TL....Good Kill though.

K20 is in the RSX, TL has a J32 motor, TSX has a K24 motor.

TL runs mid 14s, RSX with good driver high 14s and TSX will run mid 15s- all 6spds.

Auto TL is a mid 14 sec car, Auto RSX is a mid 16 sec car, and TSX with auto will do low 16s.

I work for Acura :P

When I lifted off gas pedal he came past and I looked over and seen the Acura TL written on rear trunk! I also explained earlier that he told me at stop light that he had K20 with 20,000 plus in engine. I know that they came factory with the J motor but is it possible to R&R motors?

Anyone removing a V6 with decent torque out of a 3600lbs car and putting a 2.0L 4 banger in it is a stupid idiot.

Guy doesn't know a thing, could have been a rebadged TSX... they kinda look similar from the front end atleast.
