Hello,
I'm just curious on why you consider a bad design for the brake fluid reservoir position?
Ed
I see the positioning of the brake reservoir in front of the intake as a compromise that didn't need to be. There are many vehicles that use remote reservoirs. Such a set-up is probably already in their parts bin. Any bend in the intake tract increases the drag on the air, and thus requiring more "suction" to maintain the mass flow rate.
Granted, this set-up was also from the parts bin and they knew they would be designing a unique intake. But as an engineer, any unnecessary compromise is a "bad design". And, if the diameter of the intake is sufficiently large, the losses are minimal.
But it's the principle of the thing, damn it.

I went to the F5air.com site and saw another picture. My bad.
It'd be better if the battery weren't there. Ya rotate the silicone elbow 180 and cut that 90 off the end of the pipe, and it'd be a much straighter shot. Anyone relocate their battery to the rear yet? I saw that the Fox Marketing car did, but they put their turbo up there. Show-offs.
