Get the fans in with the supervision of a buddy who has an EE degree. We rigged up a decently clean, pretty cool circuit to make it run (each fan has a relay swotched off of fuel pump...fans in high mode at all times) Fans work great BTW. Well, I noticed that my idle went to crap, and it seemed laggy in low revvs. I got to poking around, and I decided to check my voltage via my turbo timer. Viola! With the fans running, the system voltage drops to 11.34v and with the fans off, it is 13.36v. So, what am I to do? Any ideas what alternator will fit a CA18DET (jk, I'll ask them if that is my only option).

I'd check your pump voltage as well. 11 volts is low, but not too low. The fans could be drawing voltage from the pump, thus giving poor fuel delivery. If I were you, i'd check voltage, and if there's a problem, then hard wire your pump, or better yet take your current off the wiper motor (on when ign. on)
