Install Led strips on foot wells

I have a 2011 nissan versa hacthback i have two leds strips and 18 gauge wire, what is the best way to connect it to the fuse box and how to do it?

Well I want them to work only when the doors are open like when the dome lights turn on

This link is for a switched setup and more complicated than mine.
If you want a fully auto setup in sync with the dome light. Tap terminals #56 & #63 on the BCM. (#56 positive #63 negative) Look at LT.pdf, pg LT-99 in the FSM for reference. This is the easiest conection, but footwells will not light from dome light switch.
