^--- Actually i can attest to that. One of the RB25's running a t70 or so here locally ran an safc, 550cc injectors made around 519~ rwhp on 19 psi and i think the guy decided to up the boost more that same day and blew his motor within 24 hours of making that much power on bare minumum requirements to make that much power.

REMOVE the damn resistor. it's only needed to modify the resistance on low imp injectors.

You can run 550cc injectos with an SAFC on a 25and 440cc's on a 20

the safc can control up to 50 percent larger than stock injectors are sized.

safc and fine tuning shouldn't even be used in the same sentence other than this one.

I'm not saying his methods are right because i certainly wouldn't do that s***, but it can be done and has been done.

Your the guy from Vangs Performance Dyno right?

Im going to tell you probably the 5th time you'll read this. I dont care how much horsepower you make on an SAFC. If you have even the slightest idea of how these devices operate you can understand why its a piece of garbage for these engines or most engines alone that require REAL EXTENSIVE tuning.

The basics of an SAFC is just taking the Out put from the ECU's MAF and modifies the K constant value to advance or retard the s*** out of timing.

You're not directly modifying your injectors and you're only modifying another value of the MAF to manipulate a s***ty inaccurate cell of your fuel maps.

SAFC = manipulation ( General way to wreak havoc on your timing maps ) Rom tune/chip = modification ( General way to finely tune every aspect of the engine )

Safc is also not reliable horsepower. I've tuning RB's and SR's with and SAFC and Nistune. At the same power outputs of around 400 rwhp the difference in how the car produces the power is night and day.

Acceleration is choppy and laggy with the SAFC and the completely the opposite in a real tuned ECU. Power comes on very quickly and linear, it feels great.

Do yourself a favor, throw the SAFC in the trash, or like carl said use it in a Toyota or something that utilizes a different style of engineered efi.

Dont try to take this as me insulting your intelligence i am trying to help a fellow Okie out!

Shane with the SS. you must be talking about Seng or Steve ..........who are you?....PROBLEM SLOVED ALREADY.....Dumb me, what I did was had 5 switched to 4 when I had the wiring apart and redoing the clips. ...simply as that, over looked something so dumb,

What is SS? ( or is that what you drive ) i saw your user profile said Steve Vang, who runs VDP last time i checked. Im Jesse, i used to run around with a mildy tuned RB25 S13 hatch that is or was gun metal grey. 5 lug conversion running Z32 wheels. I havent been out in the car in about a year and a half because its being heavily converted at the moment to a GT spec car.

Good to see you got your problem sorted out.
