uhh wrong. I dont know about the others, but ka-de, sr20 etc are all low.IWannaS15 wrote:CA injectors are low impedence.CA18DET and RB26 = low
KA-E, KA-DE, RB20/25, SR20, VG30DETT are all high impedence...
14.1 is high right and 2.7 is lowLEMHEAD16 wrote:Okay I checked the injectors.
Stock KA24E 2.7 ohms
CA18DET 14.1 OHMS
So my next question is do I just need to put a resistor, diode, anything in line?
Thanks
I must have been sniffing the gas
Stock KA24E 14.1 ohms
CA18DET 2.7 ohms

SR high impedance? I think not.:: orion :: wrote:IGNORE ALL THE "I THINK" COMMENTS AT THE TOP OF THE THREAD.
KA 270cc injectors are HIGH IMPEDENCE.
SR 370cc injectors are HIGH IMPEDENCE.
...
"Lem" - remeasure your KA-E injectors...they should be high impedence.

1996 240sx ka24de, injector resistance per FSM page EC-298, is suppost to be 10-14 ohms at 77 degrees farenheight. This puts the de injectors in the high impeadance bracket:: orion :: wrote:KA 270cc injectors are HIGH IMPEDENCE.
SR 370cc injectors are HIGH IMPEDENCE.

Please get your facts straight before posting that as fact...I'm not tryig to be an A55, just trying to keep the info reliable and correct.Toahk wrote:SR high impedance? I think not.
THANK YOU BRIAN!! thats the only piece of info i was lookin for in this thread:: orion :: wrote:It's common knowledge that you can drop SR injectors into a KA rail and use an S-AFC to tune...no resistors needed.
As I posted above...they ARE both high impedence, I'm 100% sure...I'd bet my life on it.
