S13GUY I feel ya on the Power Rangers. Man I loved that show especially the Green Ranger. They're on either the 11-12th season now(Ninja Storm) with guys who surf and motorcross. WTF is that about? I saw the new comercial for the new Dino Thunder series for next year the other day. WHEN WILL THEY STOP?! ****in rediculous.

OMG a dino thunder series??? And whats with motorcrossing and surfing is that the new fad now??? back then the reason the rangers were martial artists was bc they had to know how to defend themselves against all the evil monsters and the like. I dont watch the show anymore, i stop watching after the Zeo saga, how do those guys know how to fight? do they even fight or do they just kill the monsters with guns?? Now all the kids will get confused and will think surfing and motorcrossing is the cool fad now (assuming some kids do watch that garbage). I think they should introduce the drfting fad into Ranger life. Hey at least they can runaway from monsters in style.

Well I wont be surprised about the drifting thing. Every1s doing it. Yea they still fight and they use the guns some times, but in Ninja Storm they mostly use swords. And the villains are cheesier than Rita, Zed, Goldar, and the other back in the day villains. Boy I miss those putties. I tell you what though I did enjoy the red ranger reunion show about a year and a half ago. Every1 was there. Jason, Tommy, The black guy from Turbo, ect... I dont know if you remember the Beetle Borgs but a couple were in the this show as bad guys from the machine empire. And they brought Zeds dragon zord back to life. Pretty cheesy, but it was good see the old school red rangers back in action. Plus they added matrix moves and slowed the camera down then sped it up during action scenes. I aint gonna lie. I watched that show like I was in 5th grade again. There were 10 red rangers in total. 2 of them were from the Lightspeed Rescue series(the other Red 1 was the special ranger in the series). How do I know all this? My little bros. watched and still watch it often.

I know this is bringing back an old thread, but I have a question. Someone in my family got me two tokyopop initial d dvds for christmas. The problem is that I only got to watch six episodes and I want more.

Is this "First Stage" "Second Stage" "Extra Stage" stuff all of the different seasons? So, If i buy the First stage dvd will I get a bunch of episodes starting at the beginning?

yes offtheline, the 1st stage i believe is the entire 1st season it has like 20/30 episodes. Extra stage is a movie? and there is a battle stage which just shows all of takumi(main character's) races

1st stage was 24 or 25 episodes. 2nd stage was with the Evo's and that was about 16 or so episodes. 3rd stage was the movie, extra stage was about Mako and Sayuki just for a little bit, roughly the length of a regular OVA. It goes into more detail about them. Battle stage was just the battles from the series revisited and enhanced cgi.

Ok cool. I think im just going to buy the entire first stage then. Its such a waste of money buying the dvds that only have three episodes on them each.

i know SO many people who went out and researched and bought corolla gts's/sr5's because of this show. and now that they realize theyre on the bandwagon, they hate the show... lmao. ah, but still an awsome car to drive, specialy with the GZE engine in one.

For those looking at the "Fourth Stage" dvd's on eBay... I just got mine. It is NOT the 4th stage, it's ABOUT the fourth stage... interviews and s*** like that...

I got all my initial d off the netI got it allStage 1 (26 Episodes)Stage 2 (13 Episodes)Initial D: Special Stage (just 1 episode after stage 1. it's about the sil-80 girl) it was hard to findInitial D: Extra Stage(basicly stage 3. Its a movie)

And I’m sure I can get initial D stage 4 from the same place.And it's all in a resolution of 352x240. TV is 320x240 so it will look fine when I burn it to DVD for my TV.Plus it's all subbed and it has tips. Ex. when taking about Takumi drive since in 7th grade it show "(japans driving age is 18)"under the sub $ stuff like 102 is premium fuel in Japan. To help teach the noobs about some of the acronyms and other stuff.

This is a classic import Japanese anime in my opinion.

180fan" if you want to read about project-d, go find the manga. Lots of em around online and many have been translated. There you will see the power of Bunta in his new STi as he gives the 86 to Takumi. BTW, the Tokyopop stuff sucks. What the hell is "Tak" in place of Takumi and the truncated/stupid names in the TP stuff? If they did replace the music from Eurobeat, they'd be stupid since that was one of the best parts of the anime which my buddies and I refer to as the pump-up musics. Ha ha ha. "

Either my browser is screwing with me or you have connection because I cannot find any translated manga of Project D. Hook a brother up ^_^

I aquired all of stage 1,2 and the third stage (movie) from the net. i think its a great show and very entertaining to watch when you cant drive.

Initial D 4 canceled? - Russ According toa press release from tokyopop on 03/31/04, there will be no 4th stage. Chairman Shuichi Shigeno was very sorry but could not release it because of "current budget cuts. Without funding for this, Initial D stage 4 won't ever be released." Sorry for all you initial d fans. Guess 4th stage wont be released ever. Read Full Story here
