My head lights are pointed outwards, what are the common reason or the actual reason the head lights are both pointed outwards. I hear its common problem, looking forward to a easy DIY .....

Thank you for the quick reply stm37 but that thread has the fix for the auto leveling portion of the AFS, I am looking for a fix on the horizontal adjustment for the afs lights. My car head lights(low beam projectors) are currently pointed towards the outside of the car on both sides.

Thanks for trying but if anyone else has some good information i really appreciate it.

The AFS system has a few different components. The control module drivers side inside behind the left dash panel. There's also connectors to the motors behind the light assembly. I'm not sure but there also may be an alignment screw at the back of the headlight assembly. My all data schematics show something but it's not labeled. I turned my AFS off. The most useless addition to any car IMO.

Are you sure the motors for AFS are working at all?

There is no sound coming from the motor when car is turned on, which could mean that the motor is toast, but is it likely that both side the motors are done for the AFS?
Is there a way to just point the head light (low beam projectos) back to center?
Thanks for the help

When the car is turned off the lights should go back to their "home" position. If they are not then it's either the motors or an electrical problem effecting AFS.

Dig through the FSM and see if you can find a wiring schematic and also a troubleshooting section for AFS. I'm about to head out for the next day or two and don't have the time to dig into it myself.
