Yea, I was. I was inspired by that VIP style. Just can't go too low and have too much camber. This is my daily driver.

^They rub how? Where? If anything you got the wrong combination of width & offset or you have a suspension component out of place/bent because there's plenty people who are lowered on Eibachs & 22s and dont have issues & even more people who rock 20s and are lowered. I'm lowered on H. Techs and with 4 adults in my car I dont even rub on dips, when I had Eibachs I was rubbing on one wheel on dips because I had a bent control arm, but with 4 adults just driving on the freeway there was no issues.

I don't rub at all. Even when I was driving back home from the rim shop with all 4 of my stocks in the car, I had no rubbing issues. My rears tuck in to the quarter panels. What's great about the M is that there isn't a lip on the quarter. They come from the factory already shaved.

^I mean, if your wheels stick out the back past the fender... obviously they're going to rub if you didnt pull the fenders or something. So it seems like you got some very wide wheels with agressive offsets.

to post pictures...

The first thing you have to do in order to post pics on the forum is to upload the pix onto an image hosting website such as:

www.imageshack.com or www.photobucket.com

I personally use photobucket because I can just log in with my facebook sn, so if you have a facebook account this will make it easier.
Once you have created your account, you can upload pictures. After you upload pictures, which should be self explanatory once you're logged on the website, you can move the (mouse) cursor over one of the pix you have already uploaded or click on the picture and you will see a drop down menu of codes right below the picture appear (or on the right if you click on the picture), click on the code that's labeled "image code"; after you click that code it will read "copied" momentarily (pay no mind to that), at that time come back to the forum and pick the thread you want to post that picture to (the picture you uploaded and copied from photobucket). Now, just as if you were writing, right click on the mouse and highlight and click "paste". You will only see some writing (the code), but once you finish the post it will be a picture, take into consideration where you will write text, above, or below the code is fine, but never in between the code, because that will break it.

Let me know if this helps or if it doesnt... good luck...

I have a slight camber in the rear that's why I'm not rubbing. I thought I was going to need a pull on the quarters but it wasn't necessary.

How long were you driving around like that? You might have uneven tire wear. At least you got one replaced.

What tire sizes are you running on the 22's? You mention not having rubbing issues with your old wheels in the back, what about with people in the back? How far do you think the wheels stick out of the rear quarter?

The wheels look tight...but dang, the rear offset is way to negative. You're gonna tear up your fenders! :ohno:

I'm running 245/30/r22 in the fronts and 285/35/r22 in the rears. I'm not getting rubbing issues because of the stretched tire and the camber. The rears tuck in and the good thing about m35's is that the quarters are shaved. No lip on them

Marley, did you ever figure out what your offset was on the 22's? I just ordered 22x9 with 38 offset and I'm wondering if i should have gone Staggard with 10.5 in the rear on a 42 offset? i don't want it to rub or stick out much if possible. i think the 10.5 with 42 offset might stick out too much. you mentioned you were running 285/35 in the back, did you mean 285/25?

I finally got my wheels for the car. I went with 22" Vossen CV1's and I don't have any rubbing issues so far with Eibach springs and the wheel/tire specs are 9" wide with 38 offset and 245/30/22. I started off with the 255/30/22 hoping it would work but they rubbed over a big bump. Checkout the pics and let me know what you guys think!

Cot dang it!!! How did you get a 285 stretched out on a 10.5??? There are a few other guys running 285's on 20x10.5 and they were all good; (no stretch)

Is this because they are 22's??
