My advice: take lots of quality digital pictures before, during and after.

Makes it easier to (a) figure out the where it all goes back and (b) makes it easier to do a write-up for us ... can earn you a Custom Title of your choice under your name (above the avatar).

If I was going to take the serious 'lazy man' approach and have someone else do the install, where do I go and how much would I expect to pay?

i put hid lights for my foggies and it was great for a couple months, but now none of them work, i tried using my old bulbs to see if my ballasts were no good but they arent working either.. any clue on what the problem might be???... i've searched high and low in every compartment for a fuse but couldnt find anything

Connecting cables may have come loose inside or ballasts went bad from all the vibration and jumping around inside if they weren't mounted correctly... ballasts tend to be delicate, they must be mounted in a secure firm location!

well to get to my fogs it was hard to access them from uptop, so i just unbolted the black plastic piece that lines the bottom of the car. that made the process a HECK of a lot easier.

ballasts are are still in place and everything is cool so far. i was thinking of changing the bulbs to yellow but, cool white is ok for now.
I have yellow fogs and am satisfied with it.
What temp are those yellow fogs?

4,300k is the OEM temperature, which emits a crystal white color. The yellow HIDs are 3,000k.

You connected stock bulbs to a ballast? Yeah, that's why they didn't work lol.

Stock bulbs are halogen. HID bulbs are xenon. Totally different technology.

You need a high quality kit...not some cheap **** from EBay. Go to theretrofitsource.com.
